  1. Please Seen it all before. Agents of guys like Paradis toss us out there as being hot for their client and then we end up with Russell Bodine and Spencer Long.
  2. IF Reality is no one wants to come here. We’ll be used as leverage (like Rickey Wagner, Revis, etc) to get a deal anywhere else and then we’ll get sold Langston Walker 2.0 and get the same refrain from our fans of “I want guys who want to be here!”
  3. Just move the team already. Our FO tried to acquire an undervalued asset and all we are left with is egg on our face as a fanbase. Again.
  4. The Browns with Odell feel like either the best offense in the league or literally fist fights in the locker room by week 5 with little room for anything in between.
  5. I thought he looked completely unprepared against Bama, their only real challenge on D the entire year (and that's questionable considering how Clemson / Lawrence looked against them). Once Bama was up 28-0 he settled in and his final stat line looked almost acceptable but that game was over before anyone blinked. A team would be insane to take him over Haskins.
  6. Just one source, but PFF had James better than Allen across the board last year and James is 5 years younger.
  7. It wouldn't shock me. People are acting like he's Ryan Leaf 2.0 I think the majority of the league can see Arizona is a dumpster fire and them moving from Rosen doesn't make him worth a 3rd round pick. #15 for Rosen & #65 doesn't feel wildly out of line.
  8. I think 2 QBs are almost certainly going top 8, the question becomes does a 3rd or maybe even a 4th sneak in there. There's already been soo much smoke around the Redskins & Rosen. Even if Alex Smith comes back he's certainly not a long term option. They could very easily see #15 for Rosen & maybe a ~4th as their best/only avenue to add a young (at one time) highly thought of prospect.
  9. A great pass rushing DT has dramatically risen in importance as offenses have focused more on getting the ball out quick. In back to back Super Bowls Fletcher Cox and Aaron Donald have had a big impact on not allowing Brady to get comfortable. The back to back NFL Defensive MVP is a DT who profiles similar to Oliver, I don't see how you can say they don't have a huge impact on games.
  10. If the Giants are willing to give up #6 for Rosen, or even in a package for Rosen, it's a different conversation entirely. But I could absolutely see a scenario where the Giants don't get their guy, ie Murray going 1, the 49ers just taking Bosa and the Jets refuse to answer their call and dealing #3 to a team for Haskins. Not only for the value for our team but also for the entertainment factor, but I really want to see the Giants take Daniel Jones #6.
  11. Not in NFL, but grew up a fan of an AL baseball team, had a close relative work for a NL team for a long time. I'm a fan of both teams now. AL & NL cross more than they used to with interleague, but the styles feel like two completely different leagues.
  12. 1 ) Murray 2 ) Bosa 3 ) trade up for Haskins 4) ???? 5) ???? 6) Daniel Jones 6th best position player available at #9
  13. It would be so Raiders to essentially trade Khalil Mack for Brown
  14. I take the opinions of guys who run their own websites with a MASSIVE grain of salt, especially when they are failed former GMs. Click bait is a business model.
  15. I have zero interest in Funchess unless he bulks up a bit to be a move TE.
  16. Bingo. Not all that different than the Chargers Brees - Rivers situation. Obviously hindsight is 20 / 20 on that one, but at the time Brees was a nice player but Rivers was viewed as a much higher regarded prospect. If Murray / Haskins are better than Rosen in their eyes, it's a no brainer, get what you can get for Rosen and move on.
  17. Right. If a team like the Pats or the Chargers liked Rosen last year and still like him, why would they not give up a 1st? Them going to a 2nd opens up the entire league to beat them with a 2nd and if they are drafting ~25 or later most years they'll never get a prospect of a similar caliber that low. I think teams would be willing to give him a pass consider they switched OCs in the middle of the year and fired their coach after one year. Arizona might be the worst run team in the league currently, their assessment of him should mean little to other teams. Also, a real live NFL team isn't actually going to take Kyler Murray over Dwayne Haskins, right? This is all just media Feb/March filler talk, right?
  18. I love tight ends. But taking a TE at 9 with the defensive line talent available in this draft is insanity, especially if 2-3 QBs go top 8 and push guys down to us. If we stay at 9 (and the only way I move down is with a VERY aggressive offer) just take the best defensive front 7 player on the board and consider the draft starting at pick #40.
  19. Feeling in my gut is we go with veteran FAs at C & G to replace the experience of Wood & Richie, then take a young potential franchise LT in the draft and shift Dawkins either to RT or G. Beane has mention we are team that builds from the front and I think given the success of Foster and their comments on "true #1 wrs" they aren't likely to spend premium money or draft capital on the position.
  20. If they pick Kyler, they are taking him over Rosen AND Haskins. Ballsy... But if they evaluate Haskins or Murray to be better than Rosen, they should absolutely pull the trigger on the move. And I could see a team like New England / Pittsburgh / New Orleans / Chargers who should/are looking at long term replacement options and aren't likely to be in position to take a guy of Rosen's caliber, even if the shine is off a little bit giving them a 1st and maybe more.
  21. Oh, I agree completely. The team had one complete performance (against Michigan), a lights out 3rd quarter vs TCU and 4th quarter vs Penn St. JT with that team and we are looking at a 8-9 win season.
  22. But Ohio State only runs screen passes!
  23. But the twitter experts who decided Allen was garbage tell me Haskins is slow to process and can't handle a pass rush...
