Rodgers didn't play last weekend. His QBR was actually below Rivers in the game, but Rating was 121.6, the best on WC weekend. and if the Bills win, then Mahomes will prove who is the best QB. If Cleveland wins, it is Mayfield has arrived to take the mantle (and did it without ODB)...... Too simple......😜

That was a Patriot Homer if you didn't know. Yes conveniently forgot the second game which if I was a New England fan so would I.

Not just him, the whole panel waffled and defended Lamar.... Yes infuriating....... They got me....

No one has posted this yet. Keeps doubling down over & over..... 5:00 minutes in.... However hated all their takes.....

Are you a Raven's fan? I don't dislike Lamar, but this week is predominantly focused on Lamar, because he finally came back in a game and that 48 yard run (and later one to ice the game). However the Titans are not a good defensive team, Vrabel turtled with 5 minutes to go 0n fourth & 2 at the Ravens 48, and refused to mix it up and watched Henry run into a brick wall over & over. All the while again Lamar put up only 20 points. They may win, however they certainly are setting up the narrative to crow about it. If the Ravens lose I doubt it will be about Lamar, regardless as I expect 30 points+ from Buffalo as long as weather is not a factor.

Queue/cue the "I never was a fan of Bill Simmons" responses.....

Sorry but that is the issue with Lamar 1-2 plays a game. Indy moved the ball all game, which can not happen vs. Balt. The Lamar narrative is often the same as his "fans" point to those few plays he makes, vs. the one's he doesn't. Vs. the Titans he maybe made 4 plays and Meh the rest of the game, but that is enough for them to trumpet him as the real deal. The Defense was bad vs. Indy, they can't play like that vs. the Ravens. And the weather should be no factor (though I'd rather be in a dome). https://www.wunderground.com/forecast/us/ny/orchard-park

It was not a catchable ball by Pittman..... The interception in the endzone would have been an all-timer and was not a drop. It was a correct call. Bills had two drops too at least. Offside was the only call the Bills got and see my thread on it..... Oh and three delay of games on Indy that weren't called and big plays on each helped them.

And KC too could have lost 2-3 more times.... That's football. Some things went the Bills way Saturday, some didn't (i.e. fumble at the end). That almost int would have been an all-timer and fortunately got the call right (vs. the fumble). If it is 27-27, I don't think Josh fumbles and different play calls. As I said, the Bills needed a wake-up call after cruising the last 6 weeks. Happy it came vs. Indy.

Watched a replay yesterday and seemed to me that the Bills really didn't have much called in the way of a play and were looking for an offside and if none was coming were going to call timeout (had two at that point). I don't think they even huddled and wondering if the play was called on third down (i.e. we're going on fourth unless a sack). Once offside with 1-2 seconds on the play clock the ball was snapped and frankly there was nothing there in terms of a play.

Most unbelievable throw from Allen Saturday
Billsfan1972 replied to Bubba Gump's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The best & most important one was the first one to Davis for 37 yards. Rolling out in his endzone, under pressure & 37 yards along the sidelines. Just incredible. On first down Diggs actually dropped one and if that one isn't completed it is third & 10 from the 4 yard line. That was overlooked because they just kept showing the toe tap.... -
Who was I scared of? I simply said I wanted the Bills off the schneid and that I likened it somewhat to how the Ravens were cruising last year. I even said it had nothing to do "per se" with Indy. Find me one post that I even broke down Indy or claimed I was worried about them or anyone for that matter. My concerns are internal (and sometimes the coaching). As per the thread, explain my "flawed" logic?

A TD makes it a 2 score game. Maybe the third down call was wrong, but going for it on fourth wasn't. Score and it is 17-7, they kick & Bills probably are at the 25 or better with still 1:55 to get it to 17-10 or 17-14. They miss on 4th and the Bills need to go 96 yards!!!! The Colts could have gotten another 3 & out and are pretty much in FG position with a 45 yard net punt. Josh made play after play (a lucky 4th down penalty) and a play overturned (very much the right call). Like playing KC, you win with td's, not FG's. Hindsight is 20/20..... But it was not a bad call. Oh and it would have been an all time catch if Indy did score a TD as it was no where near catchable.

And here is where we disagree about the QB's. Jackson (and did not see every play) made maybe 3-4 great plays (two great runs & a pass), he put up 20 points against a below avg defense and threw a bad Int. Allen made one boneheaded play, which could have cost them the game (and frankly Daboll made a terrible play call). Conversely he made 8-10 great plays..... Diggs x 2, Davis x 2, Runs, Knox TD..... He was hamstrung by terrible field position and some wonky play calling too. There were almost no gimme passes/completions the entire game. Yes I'm biased.
