  1. No, but add his legs and he is very scary.... What is something else is looking at the Raven's wins. Outside 47-42 over Cleveland & 30-28 vs. Philly, they won by 32,17,14,24,14,17,26,17,14 & 35!!!! Their losses, they never came back...... Same story on Saturday.
  2. I take it all back.... This was as said again seeing what happens almost every time the Ravens face a tough team. They are very good, Lamar is a dynamic qb, seems like a good person. He will move the ball, but as soon as they need to put up points to win a game, no one has seen Lamar do it. It was reading the article and not at all questioning Jackson, that to me thought was again making excuses for Lamar. He is a limited QB at this point in his career. Much like I did for Allen year two.....😜
  3. He doesn't throw & is not overly accurate. Is he a great runner & dynamic.... Yes..... I posted this earlier today.... https://www.espn.com/nfl/player/stats/_/id/17258/willie-snead-iv The thread was based on what I expect many analysts and articles that will continue to defend Lamar. If Allen threw that pick 6, it would have been a different narrative.
  4. https://www.espn.com/nfl/player/stats/_/id/17258/willie-snead-iv No targets, no catches......
  5. That was the point... EXCUSES!!!! The Ravens scored 3 points & Lamar threw a 101 yard pick six. Can you imagine Nick Wright (yes our new whipping bow) if that was Josh????
  6. They don't pass & Lamar as a passer is below average right now.
  7. Want to bet Diggs wouldn't be screaming at him him like he did Cousins??? Diggs would be apoplectic with 100 targets......😜
  8. Brown had only 100 targets this year. ANother great receiver and that means less. They are a running team and no FA WR wants to go there under those circumstances. However Allen is a passer, not a runner and we know how bad the receivers were year 1, and improved year 2, but the offensive game plan was basically "Don't make mistakes, because our defense will win us 20-17 games", which is what I said all year. Remember no 300 yard passing games for three straight years. Longest by any other team was 17.
  9. And I now posted the article..... Want more?
  10. Here is the Ringer Article... https://www.theringer.com/nfl-playoffs/2021/1/17/22235510/baltimore-ravens-go-bust-buffalo-bills Part of it said Lamar needs the weapons Josh has and he'd be "better" & since Allen did it, of course Lamar can too.(paraphrasing) Yep too lazy to look for others, which is why I posted....😜 I like Lamar as a person, just think he has had too many accolades.....
  11. Just read a Ringer article with the same excuses..... Imagine Allen throwing a 101 yard pick 6? Any articles or people questioning Lamar after yesterday? He needs better receivers seems to be a tired excuse. As I said elsewhere "How do you know, when you throw so little and very few are actual traditional plays as most are a result of Lamar's athleticism and many busted plays"? And what receiver would sign to play with Lamar and this offense?
  12. They played very well yesterday, but still some cracks. Will highlight two plays that cost the Bills huge field position & probably points. 1. Bills have sacked Lamar, then a Holding penalty & two false starts have the raven's at their 1 yard line. Allow an easy 12 yard throw and then convert a 3rd & 18.... Bad. Raven's do punt and then get the ball back, which leads to some soft coverage and the FG before the half. 2. Lamar out and first play by Huntly again from the 2 and he scrambles for 20 yards. Kick and the Bills start is the 24. Cost them 25-30 yards that play.
  13. Instead of a new thread, will try and resuscitate this one.....😜 Biggest concern was the weather and frankly that was a huge disadvantage to the Bills. Yep & said that on Monday.... Allen couldn't go long and the wind was a significant factor. Lamar had some great runs and eluded tackles too. While no points the Bills when Lamar was sacked and three penalties had them second and 32 from the 1 and the Bills let up a bit, cost the Bills points. How they let them get an easy 12 yard gain & then a 20 yard one could have been the turning point.
  14. How do we know they're the worst? Seems like a chicken or egg argument. Lamar "fans" will tell you that. Others see a QB who is under average out of the pocket and can't make great reads. He is plenty elusive and often makes great plays when coverage breaks down. All qb's will hit some throws and those will be the one's his "backers" will point to. However only last week (and it was only 10-0 in the first) did Lamar come back in a game.
  15. At the end of the day didn't affect the outcome, so sort of happy as it was a bit of a flop. Doesn't make up for many non-calls (remember OT vs. Houston?).
  16. Sort of like what I said about Allen, when the Offense had minimal weapons and a coach wanting 20-17 games predicated on defense (yes it worked yesterday). The difference is, everyone knows Jackson's athleticism and really only his most ardent supporters defend his passing. There are just so few plays Jackson makes as a traditional QB (i.e. drop back and hit a receiver in a tight window). I saw that made for TV QB challenge and Jackson was just awful.
  17. What Go-to-guy thinks Jackson would get him the ball? Hollywood Brown maybe a Diggs/Hopkins/ODB.... But you have a QB/offense that barely throws and when they get big plays they are usually busted plays. I like Jackson, but admit the hype bothers me and we saw another example yesterday. The weather was a huge factor yesterday and affected Buffalo more.
  18. As I posted they too did it for 3 quarters the first time they played, but then he came alive. Vrabel was convinced the same would happen last week and kept handing him the ball. Was a huge mistake.
  19. It was just explained to you & you still argue the point????? I guess in the OP I could have said injured (apologies😆) Any other nuggets to share?
  20. He couldn't move the last four games he played. May want to check a dictionary. I was explaining that the Giant's moved the ball as a team, but Jones' immobile as a QB so they could also tee off on him... Sorry if point form was tough to follow. Was sacked 18 times the last three games he played, because he couldn't move......
  21. Huh???? Again please explain? I pointed out their schedule and teams offensive ranks based on yards and made quick comments. Then stated that vs. that competition, they should look good. Too hard to understand?
  22. Dallas was putting up record offensive #'s the first few weeks (and allowing them on D too).....
  23. And when was the last time the Bills didn't do that? 24 vs. NE when they threw only 18 times and played into NE's hands. Last team to hold then in check was actually the LAC, but again Allen threw only 24 times (75% completion %). Pitt was a tough first 20 minutes granted. I also remember how Denver & SF were going to slow them down too....
  24. They will throw it, but unless the game is out of control, probably <20 times.
  25. And I said, Tennessee just kept running Henry last week figuring he'd eventually break one, like their first game, where actually Baltimore held him in check for 3 quarters (only 44 yards). They refused to abandon it & it cost them. We have no Henry, so not a concern.
