That's what I'm saying. Nothing to do with Indy (though they are a good team) or McD & 2017 & 2019, as he has learned to trust his Offense and that Offense wins football games. Just been a long 25 years..... Oh and prior to McD we had the Flutie fumble at the 5 with :20 seconds left vs. Miami followed by the QB Fiasco vs. Tennessee (Rob Johnson was pathetic that day) and "Homerun Throwback". Yes I'm scarred😜 The team isn't.... I am😜

Yes we look elite, but so did Balt last year. Don't get too high and play to their capabilities. If a win and Pitt is next, the worry will be playing the same team again and that they did control the Bills offense for the first half.... Yes it's all what it is to be a Bills fan and 1995-2019.......😜

Not Indy per se (though they are a good team). Just want to get "off the schneid".... Happy it is Saturday @ 1:00 (though Sunday 1:00 would have been ideal). Want an easy win and then will have the confidence going forward. While the Bills are not the 2019 Ravens, there is something about that first game that has me nervous (that and 25 years😉)

The Ringer is the best for Podcasts, articles and commentary. Bill Simmons very high on the Bills too. Only a few holdouts still. BTW what does Domani & Domonique have to say now?

Ding ding ding!!!! We have a winner.... And without 300 yard games the Bills lose to Seattle, Rams, Miami this year.... Oh & those 300 yard games vs. NYJ, Denver, SF & NE would have been more fun to watch if only 225 yards passing and grinding out a win playing keep away and between the 20's?🙄 -

NE did it a # of times, however often a top Offensive team may rank in the bottom half Defense, because opponents are playing catch up. Doesn't happen as much vice versa and often it is detrimental as a bad offense can't score when they need to. BTW NO won the SB when they were 1st Offense & 25th Defense. Next year they were 4th in each & lost to 7-9 Seattle in WC game..... -

I just went back 20 for the heck of it. I was 9 in 1972 and remember OJ breaking through (and now I question cheering him like I did)..... -

And this is why some people don't get how important Offense(and QB) is. Why do you think there is hope in LAC, Cincy, Jax.... Because they have QB's (Trevor Lawrence on the way)? Being as bad as the Bills were on Offense for 19 years bore out in their records. McD I will concede has seen the light this year and it is all because he has opened the Offense that this is happening. -

Playing between the 20's that year..... A # of blowouts and putrid performances.... https://www.pro-football-reference.com/teams/buf/2017.htm -

Well 19 years of watching putrid offense seems to have numbed a lot of you..... 😉 As stated there were plenty of Sundays I wonndered why I bothered watching the team. So happy many of you were okay with it. -
Went through 20 years of Offensive & Defensive Rankings below & see why it was such a rough patch..... Based on ranking in yards. Offense Defense 2001 13 21 2002 11 15 2003 30 2 2004 25 2 2005 25 29 2006 30 18 2007 30 31 2008 25 14 2009 30 19 2010 25 24 2011 14 26 2012 19 22 2013 19 10 2014 26 4 2015 13 19 2016 16 19 2017 30 26 2018 29 2 2019 24 3 2020 4 10 Avg 21.9 15.8 On Defense Gregg Williams had the Bill #2 early in 2003/04 and were #4 in 2014 and McD had them #2 & #3 in 2018/19, but look at the Ofense. 24 or lower in 12 of 20 years..... This year being the first as a top 10 unit. No wonder I was so starved for 300 yards & some offense. So enjoying this year.... Well it is now 2021.....😉

The point is they are FUN TO WATCH. Amazing what having a QB and opening up the offense does....

Spot on & while I knew nothing except that he was the Bills pick @ #7 I had to believe and I did . Yep patting myself on the back. I saw all that year one and commented on the lousy receiving core and lack of weapons (oh & the drops too). The only thing holding him back year's 1-2 was McD, which I said over & over (oh & yes Daboll too). As soon as they let him throw everything changed (if only they started that process earlier😉).

You think?????😜😉 He was ready to dump Brady years ago and when over ruled by Kraft gave away Garoppolo for pennies on the dollar...... -

The joke about NE draft day, was who'd they "Trade Down" with (listen & read too much to Bill Simmons). Belichick got lucky with a 6th round pick & an injury to his starter (no genius there). The QB position is by far the most important position and Brady helped by taking less then what he deserved. They hit on some picks (as does every GM) and did sign a few skill position players. Just to show what a QB means one needs to look no further then Randy Moss. One of the greatest receivers all time, in 2006 Andrew Walter & Aaron Brooks were the QB's of a 2-14 team. NE got Moss for a 4th round pick. 2006 42 catches and 553 yards. With Brady he goes 98,69 & 83 for 1,493, 1,008 & 1,264 and 23,11 & 13 TDs.... The QB makes the receiver. Add to that FA's on his own team that won't resign at below market value, which they often did & the fact Belichick is known to discard players as soon as they show any sign of faltering, NE is no FA destination if they do not have Brady and are not a SB caliber team. Good luck in Belichick replicating that.... -

One thing to attract FA's when you have Brady, another to get FA's when you have a Coach/GM who views you as interchangeable, ready to cut you & not interested in paying fair market value (watch Gilmore walk/not resigned this year). Oh and no QB/WR either. -

Not the way it was reported. The first game he was 11-18, because McD coached passively vs. Bilichick. Sorry as said, looks good on him.
