  1. No they drafted Allen..... Like Brady with Belichek(once the Bills won SBs), Allen covers up a lot. And still he had Peterman penciled in as his #1. Never will forget that.
  2. Stop it..... Not miserable, stating an opinion. The last 2.5 years the Bills have been dreadful in late game situations, often making bad decisions or not having situational awareness (i.e. McKenzie on Sunday). I'm not sweating the loss, just lamenting wasting what should have been a comfortable win. And I asked a question, which on p.4 still has not been addressed. However pithy, sarcastic responses are all over.
  3. Nothing to do with the thread..... I said the end of game coaching has not been good. This happens over & over and is not a one off. The game was there to be won in the last 2 minutes with a FG and they did not execute.
  4. I'm not mad..... Just noting mistakes at ends of games seem to happen over and over. Yes a hot take and surprised not more was made of Mackenzie not going down. Cost 4-5 seconds and a kick.
  5. I think McD is much improved. I'm not happy that McKenzie had no situational awareness to get down. Too many little mistakes at ends of games is really my point.
  6. I admitted I was wrong there.... How about commenting on McD and the thread?!!?
  7. And so far not a comment about McD.... Just trying to make sarcastic responses. Late game execution by has been abysmal, while a coach explains how well he prepares a team. I'd say there's a disconnect.
  8. I have not 100% bought in with McD, however think he is much improved, however the Bills have these breakdowns over and over. Not happy they lost, but not terribly concerned either, but we are seeing a trend and McD has certainly anointed himself as the "best prepared". And my bad on the Allen spike....
  9. Lest we forget 13 seconds, this team continues to make errors late in games. Allen muffed a snap at the end of the half, yet still could have spiked the ball. Edit I was wrong about this so ignore. Still have no idea what MacKenzie was doing running sideways (didn't he remember Hill catching a ball going straight forward and then falling down?). Not enoungh made that Mackenzie gives himself up after running forward 6-7 yards and the Bills get at least one spike and a FG/hail mary attempt. Almost every close loss McD and this well prepared team/coaching staff have failed.
  10. As per the title thread, I didn't watch closely, just noting a stat I find hard to fathom. Add to that only one offside and a 5 yard unnecessary roughness defensive penalties called against Miami in 80+ plays.
  11. Yes..... Much rather have gotten the ball at midfield and need a TD. Regardless, Mackenzie needed to go straight forward and get down. Bass has we've been told a 60 yard leg. Oh and the hold to take them out of FG range didn't help in a game where few penalties were called. I won't bother checking to see how egregious it was.
  12. Again that is not what I said. I stated highly questionable that you could throw that many times and not a single penalty
  13. I asked simply how do you have 63 positives and not one defensive penalty. I'll bet you it's some type of record.🤨
  14. They were barely on the field and Miami converted 3 Redzone possessions. I'd say they were okay (considering the injuries). Miami had no interest in even getting a first down their last possession. And yes the 42 yard pass to Waddle was a backbreaker. So Allen makes one terrible pass and he's to blame, but the Defense get's a pass? Even after the pass, a stop and all is okay.
  15. Miami barely had the ball. The last Miami drive to don't count. Allowing them to complete 3rd & 22 like that not good and 3 drives in the redzone all TDs too. Okay, not great (but many injuries too).
  16. Don't disagree with less calls, but hard to believe Miami was that good. Saw a few times receivers wanted a flag that wasn't thrown.
  17. And I am watching Brady get's his usual 1-2 PI calls and holding penalties.....
  18. Boy that Miami defense must be good??? Just wondering whether they were that good or any talk after the game about that.
  19. Now this is the TSW I missed..... Complaining and all the issues rearing their ugly head.....😉
  20. Why two running plays for nothing? Show they can defend the pass.
  21. I posted the same in different words last week.....
  22. The obvious..... Allen hurt or bad weather. Of course I expect a down game or two, but expect them to be few and far between.
  23. Thanks for the detailed comments (really). Yes he is the everyday Football fan. Watches all the games on Sunday (and like me not a big college fan) with an inherent knowledge but far from an expert. Obviously you are a football junky, while I watch every sport and am an expert on none😉. The Big Book of Basketball is great and how he got on and rose in ESPN is very interesting. Look I'm a fan and even now am listening to his podcast. He talks football as I like to listen to it (a lot of talk about offense, little talk about defense, unless great players and domination, no talk about breaking down play after play.....) and yes laugh when he is wrong and losing his bets. And as a Beantown homer, very happy little Red Sox talk this year and a .500 NE Patriots will mean more talk about other teams. I will always laugh at his homerism after the "Hurricane Game" last year and how as a "Fan" he went on about how Belichek "broke" the Bills and that they may not recover and that the Pats were back. Pure 100% Fanatic. He then came up with scenarios in the playoffs as to how the Pats could beat the Bills in Buffalo and then had to go on his podcasts with his tail between his legs. That is what a fan is.....
  24. Yea for someone who doesn't matter, he seems to keep doing interesting things, get's very good (and many high profiled) guests. For those who don't read (or listen) to The Ringer you are missing out on a lot. https://awfulannouncing.com/streaming/bill-simmons-has-been-promoted-to-spotifys-head-of-global-sports-content-a-move-with-potential-pros-and-cons.html https://www.vox.com/recode/23167942/bill-simmons-podcast-spotify-interview-peter-kafka And happy to hear Kirby Jackson you know more about Football. Most times I just want to hear from knowledgeable fans and not those who know know every intricacy involved.
  25. Having fun as seems regardless of what Josh does (yes a bad int week 1), somehow he barely moves. Nice to have these problems lately.
