  1. Sunday will be interesting as I can see a full 60 minutes. Highlight packages to date show just that, the best plays and often they have seemed pretty much wide open easy completions. For instance I will point out Diggs two big catches and that Allen eluded rushes and threw dimes 60 yards in the air each time (and there was coverage).
  2. I still think Josh has done more. Threw for 400 yards vs. Miami and somehow took a step back. With Lamar, the one thing we see in the highlights and again probably not fair, is just how open receivers are. Compare this to how many precise throws Allen has made on the run and to much tighter windows.
  3. Just posting something I read and yes there is victimhood when it comes to Josh Allen. And isn't there a mvp thread elsewhere here? I just thought how quickly the narrative changed was a little bit surprising. I don't worry at all about the mvp just about Josh Allen being the best player in the league. And yes watching these makes Sunday's game just a little more "personal".
  4. How did all three choose Lamar though? Usually it's supposed to be a debate with one taking the other side. Here was unanimous?
  5. Know this is a day or two old, but makes me see red http://www.espn.com/video/clip/clip?id=34683404 https://www.espn.com/video/clip/_/id/34690041 Maybe I'm unfair when talking about Lamar and see Josh Allen with Rose Coloured Glasses, but to me right now it isn't close as to which QB I'd want.
  6. But to be in the redzone and continually foiled in late game situations has to be addressed. And the last time we won a game inside the 10, was on the PI/Holding call (correct) vs. the Rams, which was a Tom Brady(esque) call.....😉
  7. Oops my bad...... Yes everything that could go wrong, did go wrong Sunday.... One of those games, but yes the randomness and the fact it has happened over and over to the Bills the past 2.5 years is hard to comprehend. One other thing to note is that in many of these close losses the Bills have lost games when inside the 10 yard line and not able to score. This to me appears a coaching/play calling issue (can say the same about the Chargers and they fired their coach probably for that reason).
  8. So it's the players fault? Sorry 13 seconds is 100% on the coaching schemes and calls (from kickoff to the two passes, where there was no defence to even make a play).
  9. Definitely would have gotten a play off he just went down at the 43-44 yard line and at least have had a shot to win. With humid weather that too would have helped the kick. Games over, but want to see if Bass has that leg and no better a time. Already been 12 54+ yard FGs after 3 weeks.
  10. Great is still to be determined. He has an incredible QB (as did Bill Belichek). Until he wins an SB or doesn't have another 13 seconds occur I'd hold off on great. And yes I think he is good to very good.
  11. Thanks for this. Situational recognition of time and clock is you catch get up field and down. Easily would have been inside the 45 with 12-13 seconds (play started with 18 seconds) and a spike. Then either a Hail Mary or Kick. Already had a 59, 58 & 57 (to win game on the last play) yarders made this year.
  12. Because they don't look prepared the last 2-minutes (or OT) with the game on the line. Whether he said it or we've been told it about the Bills and him. He doesn't look good in these situations imo.
  13. A voice of reason???? I think McD is a good coach, blessed with a great/maybe generational QB. Until he starts winning these games, I will continue to have questions.
  14. I think McKenzie is wrong and like most people (in all facets of life) won't say he made a mistake. He did. He has little idea whether he was at the 45 or 40 yard line. I didn't want heads to roll after 13 seconds, but I wanted accountability. They made mistake after mistake in 13 seconds. These late game issues too have been marred by too many coaching and situational mistakes and just 1-2 different outcomes and that would have changed those outcomes. Frankly if the Bills did score from the 1, I'd have bet you Miami would get a FG minimum and if a TD, I may be here complaining about the defensive calls.😝
  15. He get's out of bounds at 9 seconds and still time for a 5 yard pass to the sideline and the Bills are closer (that is a simple play done over and over in the NFL). He had to get ob or go down as soon as he go up field and as many yards as possible as there was plenty of time (probably 12 seconds if he just cut up field and went down).
  16. Working on a large presentation for a new CEO for our largest client. Figuring out what and how to present tomorrow morning. Thanks for asking. BTW The Bills will be fine as long as Allen is healthy.
  17. No just sucking on a lozenge. Generally don't eat breakfast. And how was your breakfast Teef? Isn't TSW basically 90% the same old same old? Probably why we are here. I'm certainly not here to see what backup LB may be signed or moves to make on the OL/DL.
  18. Oldmanfan will never question McD or the decisions. Like many here it is similar to a bull seeing red. Mention McD and they get hostile and charge (and forget about engaging in a discussion or a debate). This thread was meant to examine if the Bills are so well prepared, then what is happening at the end of games that this has become a pattern.
  19. How about the Bills & McD just win a few close game and then this would not be a "thing". Yes somewhere we have been told how well prepared McD and the coaches are and know what to do in all scenarios. This thread was based on what is becoming a trend with the Bills. There should be no way with this offense and the ball, that they don't score. And seems when they do, then the Defense needs to step up and again that has too not happened a few times. I am not breaking down every play over 58 minutes where a tip here or a better read there or a break could shift momentum, as this happens all the time. I was commenting on the last 2 minutes, where there seems to be some issues (or just horrendous bad luck). Again I expect them to handle the Ravens and promise to not start a thread should they lose a close one.
  20. Sure not calling a sneak at the one yard line? Coaching McKenzie to have situational awareness to get down or ob? Last play taking 18 seconds? There were a few.
  21. So losing these games in the last minute is random? Same as it is Random when Brady wins those games?
  22. Why don't you go over to the 32 page thread on McD then, since I put too ????? In my thread.
  23. Because you are too busy trying to fashion a witty response? Don't ever change. This is a fairly serious issue imo, where the Bills can't seem to win close games, often too having the ball in Josh Allen's hand at the end of games. I thought minimum a FG attempt was a given based on having the ball on the 25 and 1:33 on the clock.
  24. Why the Bills don't hire 50 people to have on-field access to carry umbrellas for shade is a simple solution.
