Really???? Tyrod's one lousy int vs. NE and that is the reason to turtle every second half this year?
-
Very hard to watch and hasn't improved all year.
-
Great first half and then again a terrible second half. Dennison and McDermott seem clueless after halftime and refused to continue with what's working and what is a lopsided game turn it into a nail biter.

14-6 time to go into prevent offense!!!! -
And what will you say next year? Some of us are tired of watching boring Bills football and saying that. Players want to play for winning teams. When you don't win, you play simply for your own stats. If Watkins wasn't thrown the ball, the team is losing and he is shown over and over to be open, why should he care? Selfish yes, but that's the facts of life.....
-
Love it. They should all be given a test as to how to handle basic simple in game decisions. If they can't answer simplistic questions they can't coach. He's turned the offense in to garbage and made baffling coaching decisions over and over (and got lucky many times). Can't disagree with this either. When he explained the Peterman debacle as paraphrasing "right decision, wrong result", that pretty much sums it up.

And that is why Dennison has to go. Getting excited and thinking you can build around a 5th round rookie and thinking you have the next Brady and just so much smarter the 31 other teams who did not in 5 rounds draft him tells me he is clutching at straws. Frankly I am not one who places blind faith in what could be in 2022. I am the here and the present and this was a .500 team prior to the season (2014, 2015 & 2016) and minimal tweaks should have gotten them 2+ wins......
-
The McDermott Truthers knew he was setting up Indy for that pass to Thompson. He was waiting 'til exactly the right time, conditions and situation to call the play. Worked like a charm.....
-
Meh is all I can say. The offense is a mess and no effort to really open it up and move the ball. Defense okay after being shredded mid-season. Fools Gold wins vs. Teams that one though were good, but are not (KC, Oakland, Denver, Atlanta & TB) and some when they were struggling. Wins then vs. Indy & the Jets...... As far as I'm concerned starting Peterman & not facing up to the debacle & that punt on Sunday were as dumb a coaching decisions as I can remember. Somehow though the playoffs still a possibility. And sorry this is as boring a team as there is in the NFL (as my crusade for a 300 yard passing game continues)....... Face it either drinking the McDermott koolaid or you aren't.
-
You can't argue...... You make 100% sense and still people will explain how you are wrong. Heck the post below explained that there was a good chance at a turnover, which Indy did not have one in the game...... But of course he liked the chances of one then.......
-
It was a stupid call, any weather conditions, anytime during the season and probably any score. The fact it was in a tie game in a 10 minute overtime where a win is 100% required and you have your emergency qb in. That Thompson catch was a gift and probably had a 10% chance of success given the elements and yet succeeded. For once the football gods took pity on the Bills.
-
And he still defends the Peterman start vs. LAC. Regardless it was 100% wrong and by some fluke it actually worked out....... May be a first for Buffalo.
-
Sorry on third and 8 and it is one's last chance I'd call a 35 yard pass into the wind by your emergency QB a hail mary...... The real question is if 4th & 8 would he have punted?
-
Not at all..... The season was on the line and the only reason it did work was that we completed a hail mary in the snow by their emergency qb..... A fg was not a given and the Bills got their two longest plays of the day on the drive. If Indy completes the pass to Hilton the Bills don't get the ball back. It was beyond stupid.

Anyone concerned about the wr talent?

That is as ridiculous a statement as anyone can make. But keep banging that drum. -

You can't be serious???? -
Look at the first possessions vs. NE in the third. NE scores and it is 16-3 (bad spot and no challenge thrown). Buffalo get's the ball & Tyrod completes his best pass of the day for 25-30 yards to Clay and called back on a penalty. 1st and 20 and the Bills still manage a first down. What are the next two calls???? Handoffs to Cadet for 4 yards and again stuck in a third & long...... What a waste of a Sunday..... Was there and thankfully the weather was great.

No he was the equal of Watkins and a steal we were told....... -

The FO & coaching staff set up the offense to fail. As soon as they jettisoned Watkins the writing was on the wall. Matthews was traded and cost himself $10,000,000+...... A WR with skills is only as good as the QB throwing him the ball and the OC designing plays. This OC is clueless.
