  1. Again here is where we agree.... I just wanted to get a better read of JA this year & thought McD & Daboll held him back.
  2. Sorry Teef, a lot here follow the McD mantra. I watched the SB & thought McD down the stretch, at halftime & the way they played the game (early innovative calls), a little close to the vest, bend not break defense & yes thinking after the second int that they just needed to make no mistakes. And if it is Allen, then the Bills need another QB.... And that is what I said all year, that this is what I thought was most important in 2019, is JA the franchise.
  3. Don't question McD seems to be some peoples mantra here...... Trust the process!!!!! Also note Tannehill & Jimmy G, both went into games vs. KC with rushing offenses that looked unstoppable & people saying they will need to throw & prove themselves vs. KC & both had okay #'s, but L's.....
  4. I don't disagree & expect JA to be much better then Jimmy G, but he was playing a Daboll style game, managing the team and getting to 20 points and when you needed one play from him in the fourth he didn't do it. He was 19-22 at one point, but most were short easy passes.
  5. It was an observation that seemed eerily similar to the Bills philosophy. Further Jimmy G's first int could easily be compared to some JA threw. Missed some reads badly (crucial one to Kittles in the 4th). Moved the ball well when they scored & then when needed, got flustered.
  6. Was Brady there? I was upset they showed a highlight of him.
  7. Talk about a thin skin. Sorry the 49ers seemed very Billsy & other Bills fans agreed when I pointed it out. Forgot that (& Lynch in the box signalling a TO)....
  8. They did almost everything right & then turtled up 10.... I could have sworn that was McD calling the plays up 10 & trying to milk it out. Jimmy G was just good enough to lose.... And bonus.... Jimmy G has Sanders open for the go ahead TD with 1:30 to go & as per JA this year over threw him.....?
  9. Hope she had a great time & wish her the best.
  10. I have liked to see him in the Bills uniform in 2017. There was no reason to trade a productive #4 pick under contract, who had put up 1000 yard in 13 games in 2015.
  11. Sounded perfectly fine & yep a nice SB..... The point that continues to be hammered home was that they just tossed him away for nothing when 2017 would have been interesting to see what they had. I hope John Brown builds in 2019 & we have a true # 1...
  12. I hate people arriving late as I have done a lot of work & like to have things set up & out & can talk & relax. I told people 5:00, but know some will show up around kickoff.... Funny too some people want to listen to commentary, which is okay, but not important. I like the commercials & halftime will be interesting. And to think my 59" TV seems small today..... Believe it or not all my friends have smaller.....
  13. Pulled pork (been in the crockpot since 7:00 am), homemade BBQ Sauce & Brioche Buns Chili Wings & Boneless Chicken Flings - homemade blue cheese dip Cocktail Sausages Cheese Plate/Crackers Chips, dips, nacho chips, Salsa Caesar Salad Jamoca Almond Fudge Cake Beer, Pop, Apple Juice Decided against Pizza & fried snacks. Anything I'm missing?
  14. What a non-story. McDermott & Beane traded him in pre-season. Why should he trust coaches that do that? I don't see anything in the story that was not a fact. In fact I remember them working prior to training camp. https://www.newyorkupstate.com/buffalo-bills/2017/07/why_tyrod_taylor_paid_for_sammy_watkins_other_buffalo_bills_to_visit_offseason.html
  15. Who at a skill position did they pay? Beasley & Brown are combined paid less then Watkins, Singletary appears to be a good find in the draft, but generally they go for below average/average options at best. The big names & $'s to get them are always just talk. Heck McD already has explained that the cap space he'd spend on players already here. While not from Missouri I am a "Show Me" person.
  16. Again 24th is not slightly below, it is BELOW AVERAGE
  17. All off the Discount bin (except JA)!!!!
  18. McD can't see past his Defense & Offense is an afterthought (necessary evil to give D a breather). Until proven wrong I will say it over & over.
  19. Yep would have had Mahomes to Watkins in 2017. McD would have turned a transcendent QB & made him a mediocre/above average QB & game manager..... 17 points & time to shut it down.....? And we'll wait and see. As said he created such havoc in the backfield and than there are open receivers. You would think Daboll could do that with Allen..
  20. And why is he so good????? Because a well thought out offensive scheme has receivers running open & often easy passes to uncovered players as they focus on Lamar. Yep he made some tough passes, but also the right one's into very loose coverage.
  21. I was making an observation & knew McD & Beane weren't there, but promise you if they were, would not have taken Mahomes or even considered him in 2017. They would have if they did draft him screw him up terribly & had no idea what to do. KC was incredibly smart in drafting him & knowing Alex Smith was not the long-term solution there.
  22. Mahomes would have been JA 2.0 if here with McD &Daboll.... They'd have no comprehension of who they had & may still have started Peterman ahead of him......?
  23. In the Bargain bin & discount section!!!!!?
  24. He was under contract.... 2017 as the established #1, good success with Tyrod, things could have played out much differently. Anyone else remember the game vs. The Jets where he schooled Revis??
