Meh, I see other threads get locked for no reason. The "NFL Refereeing needs to come to 21st Century" got locked, that was a football discussion... The auto response said it was being discussed previously, yeah obviously, in many many threads. Sometimes starting a new thread for a topic helps. I agree though, this thread is fine. They never ever have to worry about drafting or finding a QB, or worry about who is going to be the head coach next year. Theyre DC and OC have also been on board for a long time. I think McDaniels could easily get a head coaching job somewhere else. He doesnt want it. He likes to win. He likes to Tom Brady. He likes coaching and learning under BB. Sure they have change and constantly bring in rookies who do great. But they never change the two most important parts. HC and QB. Those two guys make everyone around them look better.

Brady will play for 10 more years and win 3 more super bowls unless Aaron Rodgers can beat him during that time, hes the only one. I am hoping Andy Dalton finds a way to play mistake free football, otherwise NE will walk into the Superbowl. Look at their schedule... there is no one who is going to challenge them aside from the Bengals in a playoff game. They will go undefeated unless they screw it up. Their opponent will not win, the pas will lose and no credit will be given to the other team anyway. NE has the best three people in the game. Gronk, Brady, Belicheck, in that order. No one has figured out how to stop it yet. Corners cant tackle gronk. LBs are too slow to cover go routes. Agreed. I dont understand the logic behind locking some controversial threads that actually have a structured debate - often involving anti-NFL language or possibility of corruption and game fixing, and allowing this 29 page fiasco that has devolved into a comparison of children in a pushing fight? This thread is being allowed because it is an easy distraction that lets fans quibble among themselves rather than a thread where the NFL is a target which immediately gets locked. When you figure out how this threads continuation contributes positively to the community, let me know. On its face, it sure as hell looks like censorship when some are locked and others are not by the mods. It makes TBD being just another agenda controlled media source.

He doesnt make me feel to good about working my little job though. Hes a good player when hes healthy, and Im happy hes on the team. But in general I am indifferent about NFL players outside of their job. Theyre just another celebrity in my book. People on twitter are horrible. Anywhere people can make anonymous comments about people, videos, topics, etc... be prepared to read some stupid, often racist and ill willed, comments from the bowels of peoples minds. And with twitter its worse because you can tweet directly to the person! These comments often have no repercussion, so people become vile. That being said, hes a pro athlete. Part of the job description is dealing with retarded fans. Deal with it.

Really? A loss by the back up QB with a ton of other injuries? This is far from the lowpoint of the past 21 years. I think the 31 point shutout of NE to open the season followed by the 31-0 shutout against them was a pretty low ending so show how far we went that season... Starting out 0-8 was pretty low. Playing our way out of the playoff after starting 5-2 with edwards was pretty bad. Realizing how bad we missed on maybin was bad. Having Trump as a new owner would have been bad. Losing against the steelers in week 17 in '04/'05 was bad. We are 3-4. We have a week off to gather ourselves and rest. We get our starting QB back. We hopefully get at least our WR1 and dynamic RB2 back. Our backup QB cost us 2 games. Our starting QB is chomping at the bit to lead this team again and win some ball games. If we can stay injury free we will be fine. Im not saying we will make the playoffs, im not saying we wont. But we wont see a 6 play series that includes 3 turnovers with TT at the helm. The only thing I take away from seeing EJ lose these last two games... is how amazing it is that Cassel stepped in for Brady and won 11 games. And we traded away cassell for peanuts.

Besides the penatlies, no one seems to be coaching Denarius Moore. His judgement on calling a fair catch and returning a kick seems to be... not good. Hes a turnover waiting to happen.

I would take EJ over RG3. Both way underwhelming except EJ doesnt have a parade following him around.

Ejs second half play did redeem him a very little bit. If they decided to bench him after the pick 6 or the second int... i think it was very likely that would have been the last time we ever saw ej as an nfl player.

Im with you. The loss hurts in the standings but this is not our team. Say its just another excuse but its the truth. Ej is not our qb. TT is. The ship will be steadied.

I only saw the clip once, it was a questionable noncall. Still doesnt justify the pi call. But thats what refs do.
