We really don't need 3 TEs active. Deactivate Smith or Gragg and get MW in there. If he fails in the game then fine deactivate him, but give the man a chance to catch passes. If you want to run fade routes in the red zone it makes sense to have the biggest fade threat active.

I like his too. Its the replay of the celabration rather than the TD that is frsutrating. Wouldnt you rather see the dive into the endzone than the celebration for the 3 second cut-to-commercial sequence?

For replays of touchdowns/big plays and when cutting to commercial, why do they show the player celebrating a touchdown rather than the play itself? They don't show the catch... they show the superman shirt rip or the spike, then analyze the spike. Similar thing when watching NE* play, after any touchdown, they cut to Bob Kraft up in the box. Do patriot fans like seeing old Bobby high fiving everyone? It has provided some funny internet gifs, but its getting hard to watch games straight through. I was spoiled for a year with DVR, and now that I have to watch the games with commercials and what not, its tough. Is anyone else annoyed by this? Or should I stick my head in the sand.

Question: How good could KC feel about yesterday? Their offense got manhandled all game and won on some timely turnovers and a team unable to punch it in inside the 20. While they are on a 5(?) game win streak, they sure didn't look like a team who could give NE or Den or even Cle a battle... *I know they already beat NE once - but NE sure looks different now than they did then.

The best part about the remaining schedule is that if we make it to the play offs, no one can say they didn't earn it. Everyone is talking about December being grueling, when really the 4 (3 remaining) games in November are going to be absolute dog fights with teams trying to establish themselves. Then moving to Dec, Green Bay is trying to re-establish themselves and we all know about Den and NE. If somehow, someway, this team claws and fights their way to a berth, then there is no way any can say "yeah well, ____ sucks and etc." No. They earned it 100%. Oakland is the only game I can see possibly as a +10pt W, but with this team no game is a guarantee. I agree that they are a good team. They need to make assessments in game and see what is working and keep doing it and do it until it stops working. The run game was there this past week - stay with it. It may be passing against miami. Use the 1st Q as the experiment Q - see what works, then attack.

Watching Chandler bumble the fumble was almost as cringe worthy as the fumble itself. It almost looked like he was trying to be cute and recover it mid air rather than just diving on it. But to counter my own argument, a bull-dive at that strangely shaped ball might have also resulted in a touchback. I don't remember how much room he had to make a dive type recovery.

Long time reader first time poster... I try to do the same. Its a defense mechanism. Yesterday really hurt. They suckered me in after those 2 wins against Minn and NJ and I drank the kool-aid before the game. For walking dead watchers it was like realizing I had eaten "tainted meat" If they lose Thursday... numbness for me. And most likely the 14 year streak continues.
