I dont have all the answers. If I was gonna throw out an arguement for the sake of it... I would say as long as either the NYJ or NYG is in the playoffs NY is satisfied. The past few years have been rough, but two SBs and Jets in 09 10... if the players dont execute theres only so many points and wins you can buy. The last few years I would say the blackhawks winning NHL titles has kept Chicago fans happy. I know the NHL is smalltime compared to the NFL, but I do think there might be some inter league talks saying, lets keep this big market happy, take some NHL championships... I dont follow the NHL much, but I do like to think its the least corrupt league of the major four - least referee involvment. Anyone agree/disagree?

And same reason why its always the pats at the other end. Kraft/NFL really cashes in when the pats are on top due to the wealth in Boston/NE. If the bills were on top, im not sure how much more Bills fans would splurge on tix, gear, etc.

I think FOX showed a stat at the beginning of the game the the giants were #2 in the league at defending the run. Also our run game up to that point also included shady and sammy. While they weren't 100% they are still bodies that MUST be accounted for by the defense. Also, WAY WAY too many runs on first downs.

Esp on a first down from their own 20 or 30... its not all that crazy. Giving up five yards for a potential sack that shakes up brady... kinda worth it... I feel like its something bellicheck would think of. Give up a 5 yard first down on first down and get a QB hit out of it... not a bad trade...
