I agree that With Allen, we should always be in the conservation.. but that advantage isn’t such a big gap when having to go through Mahomes, Burrow, Lamar and a handful of upcoming Qb. We shouldn’t be minimizing Allen’s talents with only Receivers who are great from 10 yards are less. I think post playoffs last season one commentator made a comment about that not being the type of offense to run with Josh.. We need to push the boundary past that 10 yards and I hope we find that.

I really like Beane. But he isn’t above criticism. This team under his direction needs to make a Super Bowl. So let’s say this is the beginning of the Second Chapter. I hope he looks back at what has worked and hasn’t worked. I think one of my criticisms is not recognizing the moment in the moment. When we were buzzing along, we were probably Von Miller away from avoiding 13 seconds. The Rams made the move to bring him in and we didn’t. ( I cannot confirm if we did indeed try) A rental for a Super Bowl , yeah I’d take it. Last season, we could have brought in Hopkins, probably at the expense of not signing Sherfield Harty. Having to bring back John Brown, Cole Beasley so late into the season 2 years ago jumps out to me as not really doing enough and the the above signings felt more of the same. Maybe we just can’t evaluate the position and put too much belief into our own guys like Gabe. There is a lot of belief going on these boards, that our oline is going to be ok, and if we take a few shots at Receiver this is the best course of action to follow. I am both somewhat excited that we have fresh faces on Offense yet still a bit skeptical that this might turn into a disaster. I agree with Beane that this isn’t September yet so let’s see what we are looking like by then!

Wow! So right now when I continuously ask Has Beane done enough for our Franchise Qb.. Well right now, we let our number one Wr go as well as a few key pieces of our Oline. We are not better off. Houston will now be a favorite to win a Super Bowl before us..

Well I can’t say I know too much about Edwards but he does know Mahomes and maybe can bring some insight into the Chiefs that we can exploit.. I guess Mahomes and Hollywood are already getting acquainted.. I really want to take this team down!

I guess this is good. He was huge for us when he is healthy..But it just feels like a lot of run it back of the same? Focus on the D , with our own guys. It’s easy to be comfortable with this..Because it’s all we know in this regime. But maybe we need to get a bit more uncomfortable at times. We still need a Safety and with some interesting options available I even wonder if they will look outside the organization? Maybe we didn’t really need to rush and sign Hack and Rapp and explored some other options. I guess right now I just feel underwhelmed and I know the cap has a lot to with it. But you still choose where to put your money at Free Agency and fill out the rest in the draft. Each offseason, If I could ask Beane one question it would be , Are you doing enough for Josh? Last year he took the approach of not trying to bring in a Hopkins type player but spent money on a couple players like Harty and Sherfield who he thought could be something. I even bought In, but at the end of the day, they were not really anything more than they had shown in their career to date. Right now we basically have lost two good Olineman and have yet to settle another Wr.. and need another big back behind Cook. I am thinking Beane has his Guy at Wr in the draft , and will make moves to get him. Or draft 2 , honestly i want to see some playmakers at the position to compliment Diggs.. But I’m in the wait and see mode on this offense.

I got into collecting a bit more when COVID began. Was just really going stir crazy. I have a Josh rookie card psa graded 10 which is pretty cool. I also have an official NFL Football where Josh signed “Mafia is Family” and a Josh signed Jersey. On my wall a Josh Diggs duo signed picture. As a kid, I remember heading to a mini camp and was able to get A bunch of Autographs on a mini helmet. The two I really wanted were Bryce Paup and Chris Spielman! Got them both with Ted Washington and a bunch of others. I met Jim Kelly at a signing in Toronto so have a pic and signed picture. I do have his rookie card as well. Some fun stuff and I’m probably done at this point. My 2 Boys can have all of it one day.

He will be a Chief. Mahomes even posted about him on Twitter. Which leads me to think Mahomes is 100 percent tuned into who is next future Wr could be. They are going to rehaul their Wr room with a vet and a rookie.

It’s ok because Kc will be more than happy to have a few choices on which Wr to pick from. Is it not possible to find a decent edge in round 2?

I can’t believe it has been Six Years already! Honestly I’ve loved every minute of watching of him play since Day 1. It was so refreshing to see a player take chances , and just do crazy stuff at the position. I loved it. I never knew much about Josh coming into the league but what surprised me was his ability to escape the pocket. Also when you watch other Qbs play not named Josh, Mahomes and Burrow.. the Qb play can be quite the contrast and boring for me at least. But it would be such a shame and waste if the organization can’t help put a team with a generational Qb over the hump. Its also crazy to think that one day there will be another young leader taking the reigns of this club after Josh.

I don’t believe the Chiefs are too worried about directional punting.. just Boom it out of the Endzone.

I think the reason that this is news is that the Chiefs are at the top and it doesn’t seem like they plan on giving up the reign anytime soon. Every move they make is an attempt to stay ahead of well everyone else.. I am not saying all their moves work out. But we know they got a Punter who can boom the ball. Will probably be considerably less than resigning their previous punter. They signed a guy who we kicked to the dirt. The icing on the cake for me would be a mock draft that I just saw where first pick we take an Edge, and the Chiefs take.. you guessed it a Wr. I think they have a better vision than us to reach a title or our vision is sound but something keeps holding us back.
