I know a few people in Georgia and the ATL area whom are Falcons fans since the Henning and Campbell years, and the word is Thomas Dimitroff is having his head called for by fans left, right and center. There was talk about him possible being given the boot last season after their epic collapse from the 10-6 (2011) and 13-3 (2012) records and an NFC Championship to 4-12... The only reason he kept around (or so I am led to believe from the people who know their team) is purely down to the respected ties and history with Billy-B and Scott Pioli. I really don't see how he hasn't been shown the door with Smith. Atlanta's problem is anything but their QB play... It's a whole team effort. Their defense is totally suspect, game management was awry and their run game was never there minus maybe one or two weeks this season. If the new HC of ATL decides to part ways with Matt Ryan without a sure-fire successor then he is a complete moron who deserves to be out of a job within two years. Simple.

Whilst they are similar in total breakdowns, their line slowly but surely has gotten better and better as each week passed. Ours? Ups and downs. There was a run of games (4 I think) prior to Carolina yesterday where he had zero sacks taken and only 8 QB hits... No way that makes them on par with ours. Throughout the first half? Absolutely. Anyway, regarding Matt Ryan. It would take something of epic proportions to get him - at least two first rounders (one that would have to be top 5) a decent mid-rounder and two cornerstone players that they can work the team around until their new QB takes the reigns. Even then, it's a long shot. Ryan, some love him, some hate him but he is a gamer and a stud at QB. Put him on a team with a couple of weapons and a fairly stout defense and you're talking deep playoff runs - something Atlanta knows all too well. Also, in any said situation, I'm sure they'd want to have at least a top 10 draft pick of their own to begin with. Oh wait...

The last time the Bills won at New England
Sojourner replied to DC Tom's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Shut up. Billy boy went for it on fourth down when the game was still competitive which tells me all I need to know - he wanted to win. When his QB took a few decent licks he re-evaluated what was at stake and put in the rook after half time. He still played to win, like always, just the production didn't equate to that come the end of 60 minutes. Back to the cave with you. Toodles! -
3. Find another option for our QB competition 4. Demands and goals set by Terry or there's changes. They have to at least be reasonably lofty.

Anyway, a few have said two of the three already. Spikes. Keith Rivers and Deonte Thompson. -

RG3... Sadly. Just kidding. He's playing alright actually: 7/11 115 yards 1TD

Dallas shredding Washington in every aspect on O'. 27-10, ball back with 2 TO's and 1:20 left to work in the 2nd. Getting ugly too. Mega boos for their team at FedEx. Can't wait for this ATL/CAR game. Wanna see who's in and who gets a top-10 pick.

Agreed. For me it's between Bell and Murray. They both have produced big time for their teams and deserve to be right up there in the mix. Same can be said for J.J. Watt. However, it'll either go to Rodgers, Brady or (at a stretch) Romo.

This is fandom? !@#$ you. Seriously. IF we lost our first 15 games next season I would still want them to win and play to win irresepective if that win cost them the #1 overall. I don't like the Bills losing period. Never have. Never will.

Report: No Football ops changes expected with Bills
Sojourner replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Regarding Pegula, you couldn't have stated it any better. Absolutely. I am indifferent to him staying or going. Whether he stays or goes, there must me an interest to upgrade (like you stated) the offensive line and QB. I don't think Hackett is essential that bad a coach as a lot of the misfires hinged on both quarterback and O-Line play but we could and should do significantly better than him. -
Player you missed on in latest draft

The difference between Maybin and Barr comes down to coaching; specifically Zimmer. He's executing Barr in the right role he needs to be in and not trying to make him something he's not. -

Houston will be seeing a charitable donation in one form or the other then. That's the one thing I hand to Mario - he's sincere and true to himself. -
And promptly fall flat on their face. A work colleague of mine is a die-hard Falcons fan and is convinced after the Saints win that they beat Carolina this Sunday and get all the way to the NFC Championship "easily". I couldn't help but be amused until I realized he was deadly serious. His reasoning for why? "Matty Ryan and Julio = Money". Fair point really!

Didn't Oakland have the strongest strength of schedule this season? I think he performed well. Could it have been better? Sure! But he's a building block for the future. A fundamental one that looks very possible to succeed, which for the Raiders, is about time.

Whilst there's a few candidates that went in the first round, I would definitely have no problem with still taking Sammy - he's unique. I agree with you JTSP that Mack is a force but I think our biggest miss (especially after the play from the interior of our offensive line and watching a few of the Raiders games this season) was Mississippi State's Gabe Jackson. Would have no problem if Preston Brown or him were our second and third round picks but the Kouandjio pick is looking like a long shot to see regular playing time. Actually, Trai Turner or Russell Bodine could have been potentially better, hopefully he turns it around though I don't see that happening anytime soon unless he has a miraculous offseason and TC. -

Nice video and insight to our D-Line and our Pro Bowlers. After watching it I have high optimism that Jerry will resign as long as the contract is fair. Part 2:"Y'all didn't invite Larry Bird!" -

My bad, I thought you were serious given the fact of your last point - the amount of Pro Bowlers and wins they had last season. It is a lot but I can give good reason to every single one of those Broncos being a Pro Bowler with the exception of maybe Ware and Ward. -

Marrone should be back with the FO doing everything in their power to bring in another QB to compete for the starter spot along with EJ and Orton (if he's still here). Polian, Cowher and any of the other regular fantasies will only ever be just that - fantasies. Ain't happening. -

Great find! Thanks for the link! Definitely not. I see Kyle right at the end with Marcell. Mario right above him.
