Watch, the Steelers will continue with the run with a few yards to punch it in. At which point our coaching staff would abandon it even after gashing them all the way up the field on the ground.
Don't remind me. Please.
From all the talk during the off-season, it isn't as much as you would think. A lot of analysts were picking them as a dark-horse to make the P/O's this season solely on their defensive unit under Horton.
I don't like many of the SEC backs to be honest, they do however produce gaudy numbers in college. Don't see that turning into an anomaly any time soon either.
This Bell kid though. Stud!
I understand your point and it does have some absolute validity to professional translation. But when you can put Emmit Smith, Herschel and Bo Jackson in one list, it's golden.
Fair enough.
I personally think it's a level playing field. If it's a pure numbers game of the most productive college backs who get drafted, SEC all the way.
And as George Iles once said: "Hope is faith holding out it's hand in the dark."
Until we find our guy or E.J. moves on, I'll continue to be the eternal optimist.
Still don't understand your point that he doesn't possess a single intangible to be an NFL QB, no.
I am not at all stating Manuel will be even a decent QB, I just have hope that maybe the kid comes good.
Every one?
So seeing as you know, do enlighten us all what every intangible is. And please, refrain from dipping into the Kiper/Mayock pot that you hear on the television.
