  1. Reasonable but I pray for not getting Adam Gase. I'll have a crack: Bills: Pep Hamilton or Darrell Bevell (However, I have a feeling we actually promote Schwartz for at least this upcoming season and why not?) Bears: Jack Del Rio Falcons: Josh McDaniels or Rex Ryan 49ers: Todd Bowles Jets: Mike Shanahan Raiders: Dan Quinn
  2. The music... The wide eyes... Comedy!
  3. Easy tiger! We are a far cry from 'sucking' as a team. I think it automatically becomes a match-up the Bills circle on the calender each year Marrone is HC there (providing he gets the gig).
  4. As long as there's no Heartbreakers... Ayyyyyyyy! Seriously though, I know virtually nothing about the kid. I am guessing he's at least a 2 year project if we draft him?
  5. I've watched Luck play and he does make some miraculous plays but in terms of defenders being draped all over him and making throws? No. Nobody does it like the Berger.
  6. Better Big Ben? It was one heck of a play but there was hardly even one defender all over him.
  7. I don't know.... Are we? I thought you were saying we needed a decent OL coach and better guards with a workhorse back to match (which I agree). It may be your "otherwise" part which threw me. It sounded like "otherwise, if we can't get the OL coach, guards or RB then let our defense win games like Seattle have requiredin the past". Either way, I totally agree with the need part
  8. Yeah and I am stating that he's currently the assistant HC there... If Bevell goes surely he slides from OLine coach to OC/Assistant HC... My man, Seattle had both of what we need AND a defense... There is no "otherwise" to replicating Seattle's success seeing as they had a good OL coach and decent guards to block for a workhorse back with that defensive unit...
  9. I'm not so sure. Definitely a first rounder but I have concern over durability and consistency to hang in a pocket with this kid. Either way, all the best to him.
  10. He now knows your name...
  11. No way Cable drops the Seahawks for just simply an OL coach gig. He's currently the assistant HC there, no?
  12. Surprising, didn't think he'd opt out. I knew he wouldn't get an extension but I thought he'd be here at least another year after the job he did this season. Oh well, on to the next one! Talk is he wants to head to NY and secure the Jets job. Stating he enjoyed his time there as the OL coach.
  13. Please go find and quote me exactly where I stated Ryan will be dumped by the new HC they acquire. I am curious because my statements have only been the complete opposite unless they trade him for a gold mine. Your whole point was about a new HC dumping a good QB so the guy he wants can play the position - that happened, to a tee with Harbaugh, Kaep' and the 9ers.
  14. There's actually a reasonable pot of TE's who are UFA's this upcoming offseason... Julius Thomas, Rob Housler, Charles Clay, Lance Kendricks and Jermaine Gresham. Maybe we finally address the position and save a draft pick?
  15. Our borderline Mall-Santa plays Center for us...
  16. So that's two QB's or a QB from the first after we have a QB who's there before anything, first. Right? You and me both brother...
  17. They just sat down for a chin-wag... Those PA boys!
  18. Hmmm. Your previous post was mis-worded then Ed. Even though the elaboration on the Pagano and Manning/Luck thing makes sense I still, in requirements, lean toward the 9ers fitting that situation more than Indy. Harbaugh drafted Kaep' in 2011 and during that season won with Alex Smith as his starter, finishing 13-3, beating the Saints in the Wild Card and losing to the Giants (due to nothing more than special team errors) in the Divisionals. Next season? He hit the bench midway through the season and the rest was history.
  19. Maybe we can get Douglas to be fired. Get angry and break the arm/s or shoulder/s of an elite QB and acquire them via trade. He'd be sure to be a Saint then!
  20. Sensible and considerate of all situational aspects. Good post.
  21. I asked for no examples. Someone else did. But still, Fitz wasn't a good QB. Favre wanted to retire. And Peyton was purely down to injuries/surgeries for him not being retained. Simple. The only situation where the coach got rid of a good QB to play his handpicked QB was the 9ers and Harbaugh...
  22. If Glennon played like he has done for the Bucs here, people would be calling for his head. Like I said in the post you partially quoted. He's not bad, he just isn't exactly anything worth clamoring for IMO. He could come good... But so could EJ. So could Tuel. So could any other QB. I mean look back to when we played the Bucs last season. ONE RUN WON THEM THE GAME. He only had to make a handful of throws - ones we all complain about on a weekly basis here and he couldn't.
  23. The only one out of those four where there is a problem is San Fran'. Alex Smith was successful and winning them games in both the regular season and playoffs... New QB who by all accounts was way off adjusting to the NFL yet thrown into it head first for nothing more than his athleticism. 9ers made a mistake getting rid of him so soon. Fitz was way too much of a cap hit for a nice-guy-journeyman-QB. Favre was never around when Rex was there. He wanted out after the end of the season, to which the Jets granted his request. Manning was coming off major neck surgery, on a HUGE contract and you have the heir-apparent to your franchise. Wise move. Move on. Better contract = more ability to rebuild Seriously, get a grip of yourself.
