Same, it's so much worse when they're not even competitive. The loss is not a reflection of your personal life. You're not a chump. Nothing is expected of you, whether the team is good or bad. Your friends and family don't think any less or more of you for being a fan of a sports team.

The Bengals aren't a power football team either and had a bunch of backups playing on the line. It was equal playing conditions for both teams.

The Bills have a great home field record in the playoffs. Losing this one game doesn't suddenly mean playing at home doesn't matter. What point are you trying to make? They need to build a dome? Teams lose home playoff games in domes, too.

Objectively though, I don't think anyone can sincerely say he's been consistent enough to earn a big contract. I'd prioritise keeping the two LBs together and getting younger stars at safety, which may require another big FA find to pair with Hyde.

McD can bring in someone else to run his defense, but it can also be someone who is more aggressive and adjustable. It's entirely possible. I don't know who can do it, but I'm sure there's someone out there.

Frazier can totally go. Dorsey, as a first time OC, can build upon this and I'd be fine if he's back.
