only the Bills will sign free agents or draft players next year. Most of our TBD off season gurus assume the Bills will be the only team adding picks and free agents. -
So you think its possible to be worse than letting the other team score TDs 100% of the time in the red zone.

Mainly to point out idiotic posts like yours here, and the one I responded to before which generated your inane whining.

20 years of getting excited about punting and celebrating Kyle Williams and Stevie Johnson and other late round success stories has warped your view. Its far far far far better to draft Patrick Mahomes with the 10 th pick and then have him play like his worth a part of #1 overalls to start his second season. I hope to see that from Allen. It won't make a damn bit of difference if Foster produces like a solid 3rd round for the next 10 years or not, if Allen isn't great.

Philip Rivers: A Sobering Warning

There are two current models for success. The one you describe here (essentially the Eagles model last year). And the one where you have Tom Brady, Big Ben or Aaron Rodgers. -
Nothing is more over rated in sports than the concept of a QB mentor. Being a washed up scrub does not fill someone with wisdom. If your QB coach sucks, fire him and get another one.

Its nice to get UDFA's and late round draft picks that play above their selection. What I really want is a first round QB and a first round MLB who play way way above their draft selection spot.

9-19: Steve Beuerlein Talks Josh Allen on WGR

Does your success in the NFL qualify you to provide better analysis of Allen? -
I have hyper critical of Bills since the decision to hire Buddy Nix. I think McDermott is a bit of an egomaniac and overall a bit of a tool. I am not sold on Beane either. I am hugely optimistic about Josh Allen. Personally my feeling is that if the Bills don't have a playoff WIN next year, I would not care if the changed coaches and/or GMs. Long tenured coaches don't win because they have long tenures. They have long tenures because they win. But most people can't grasp the basic cause and effect.

During the Brady era, the thing that I have noticed the most distinguishing the Patriots offenses from the Bills is what seems to me to be a vastly different approach to offensive game management. The Bills approach always seems to be that you have 3 downs to gain 10 yards cumulatively. The Patriots approach seems to be that you have 3 chances to get 10 yards on any one of the three chances. Of course this mostly comes down to having Tom Brady. And the Patriots go three and out plenty. But it seems as though the Patriots approach leaves the defenses guessing a lot more. Playing calling seems far less situational for Patriots than the Bills, and therefore less predictable, which in turn makes it hard for defenses to defend. Said another way the Bills have "passing downs" and "running downs". Defenses play to the predictability. The Patriots play calling seems far less predictable. I am not in anyway comparing Allen's talent to Brady's. One is unknown, one may very well be the GOAT. However I do feel that Allen's skill set will allow an OC to be far less predictable in game management that we have been in the recent past.

I think you misunderstood the original boost. It was making QBs analogous to the generals. Who is Monty means which QB is Monty?

Which Montgomery?

Based on your post, I am quite confident you are not smarter than the Patriots front office.
