There are a lot more knowledgeable people out there, like everyone else. But hey if you don't feel like looking that's up to you.

Peter Schrager, c'mon.!!! That guy knows jack about football even with a support staff. I believe this year was his first time even covering the draft. And if you watched Friday and Saturday on the NFL Network you learned nothing. ESPN put on a much better broadcast and their seasoned draft guys were on for three days, not just the first round like Bucky and DJ on the NFL Network.
Schrager needs to stick to his metorsexual football morning show talking about pop culture with a tiny bit of football mixed in.
Please tell me this forum is smart enough to know Schrager's opinion means absolutely nothing.

I don't like a backup QB with only one good game under his belt. If Allen is hurt and Barkley bombs we could be using a rookie QB
If you go back and watch the game I don't think it was even good, more lucky. Underthrown balls with good adjustments made that game for him.

It might need to be changed to "blindly trust the process". They have never laid out the process for any of us to believe in.
Whatever they do we take it as pre planned and call it "the process". Processes are documented before execution and communicated to create what is called mobilized commitment.
This doesn't mean they don't have a process planned. You just can't ask people to believe in something they don't have any knowledge of.
Maybe "trust us" or "trust the path" would be a better tagline.

I think based on play he belongs in. Like some said previously though his broadcasting needs some work. That should not matter in his consideration for the HOF however he is not doing himself any favors by talking down about playing and practicing and anything football related. He makes it sound like the glass is half empty on the whole NFL experience and that hard work is for the birds.
I understand he is near 50 now but you should promote the game and the experience a little if you are on the fringe of the HOF. Even Andre Reed put on a good face to get in.

Hyped or not, sounds like this guy doesn't even get a chance to prove himself to this board. Just because he is not a Bill I am guessing.
This is exactly how Josh Allen was treated last year
Not one mention of Sills either. Did anyone pay attention past the 3rd round? Sills led the nation in TDs over the last two years.

A lot of work put in here, especially with the trades. I don't see how Simmons and Gary go 12 and 13 though. Simmons is not a game changer and has an ACL and the visual.

I am starting to wonder if it is Tanner himself starting these threads

Maybe it is because she would never throw out a blanket statement like "NOTHING she predicts, says, or even comments on is accurate" without proving it with data.

What no Travis Henry? 12 kids? Which doesn't make him a bad guy but moving large amounts of drugs lands you in the slammer and on this team

Not worth the risk because Brady struggles against interior pressure, not edge pressure. I'll take the best interior penetrator available please

I’d rather then get a DT in the draft. Sign Ansah n cut Murphy. Then draft a edge later down the board. The draft is so deep for defense
Why cut murphy? Is one player deep our goal with 40 mil in cap space?

Look at Tom Brady's effectiveness vs edge pressure and pressure up the middle. We have the opportunity to draft an up the middle pressure D Lineman at 9. That is a better strategy than trying to outscore the Pats. Just ask the Giants.

What about the story that Jonah refused to switch positions in college and only sees himself as a left tackle?

Still looking for a #1 WR with size????

Hopefully they give up Marijuana and get blood testing in return. If player safety is truly an issue then HGH and other non urine detectable PEDS need to go.
It is only my speculation but the fact that the Superbowl was won by a 41 year old QB and the fastest player on the field that day was a 32 year old WR who looked worlds different in the Superbowl compared to week 5/6 immediately following his PED suspension sucks. If anyone hasn't watched ICARUS on netflix yet, predictable scheduling of urine tests are easily beaten.
Clean up PED use and we won't need to soften the rules so guys don't get hurt.

I’m confused. I get the size and speed but hands? Is the trading staff going to give him a hand transplant?
Enter N’Keal Harry. Mad YAC skills, great hands, better route runner, 4.5 40, 6’3” and 27 reps on the bench. Oh and he can contribute on returns.
No fair, the question was DK or TJ. I like Harry better too - he reminds me of Tim Brown the way he runs after the catch.
You are correct hands are not something the training staff can necessarily improve. I think Metcalf has pretty good hands though from what I have seen on tape. I was just saying I would select DK over TJ and then go to work on his flexibility.
Since you brought up Harry, I think the selection between he and DK will come down to mental makeup.

Didn't Ridley select OchoCinco and TO to train him for the combine and draft? I know they were good WRs but who would pick them as trainers?
I don't like his decision making for that one alone

Discounted because of a three cone drill? Say that out loud.
We haven't even seen his individual workouts yet

A lot of shots at DK's workout. How about TJs? 4.7 in the 40 with build up speed? Remember he will never be faster than right now.
After a few weeks of NFL games getting knocked around in the trenches are you OK with a high pick TE running a 4.9 or 5.0 in games? Will that get open?
Personally I would use the training staff to get DK more flexible - yoga, pilates, stretched, and pool work . I'll take my chances on the upside of size, speed and hands.

Physically he is that guy. As a WR, he’s not nearly as polished as those guys were coming out. Not even close. I get the comparison but I think it’s woshful thinking. Misses the season due to a neck injury. I don’t think he should be our 1st pick. Love the takent though. Has some serious bust potential.
My questions on Metcalf are if he has the hands to catch Josh's fastball (Harry is said to have the better hands) and is he quick at all? On tape it all looks like TE like build up speed. He is fast, I will acknowledge that, maybe faster than Harry in a 40. Metcalf's strides seem long as compared to Harry who looks quicker laterally and I see as a Tim Brown type.

It looks like consensus no offensive players in the top 10 in an offense driven league, hilarious. We are really buying into those January "expert" process rankings. Maybe reviewing draft history would be better strategy for our educated fan base. QBs and WRs will be prominent in the first round as they always are.
My #1 pick for the Bills is N'Keal Harry and he will go top 10.

Using Drafttek
1. WR DK Metcalf 6'4" 225 Ole Miss
2. OT David Edwards 6'7" 315 Wisconsin
3. OG Chris Lyndstrom 6'3" 307 Boston College
4. TE TJ Hockenson 6'4" 250 Iowa
4. DT Olive Sagapolu 6'2" 345 Wisconsin
5. DE Chase Winovich 6'3" 245 Michigan
5. CB Rock Ya-Sin 6'2" 190 Temple
6. OLB Ben Burr-Kiven 6'0" 221 Washington
7. Punter Mitch Wishnowsky 6'2" 220 Utah
7. TE Jace Sternberger 6'4" 250 Tex A&M
I like it but I would switch out Metcalf with N'Keal Harry. He has the best hands in the draft and we have the best fastaballer QB.

Take your Eye off the ball by Pat Kirwan

How can Jones be 17th in catch rate when he is being compared to 15 players?
Also Foster's numbers are sure to be better because of who played QB in his games vs. a full season by Zay.
