  1. No one pays attention to the Buffalo Bills. But they’re back in the playoffs after winning in Pittsburgh.

"There aren’t that many people outside Western New York, it seems, who pay much attention to the Buffalo Bills. Not this season. Not this century. Not ever, really"

No one pays attention?  Then how do you explain the recent TV ratings?

The Bills militia stretches across the US and around the world.   They can all write this garbage until our playoff run comes to their town!

well, Brady is also bad with the deep ball now, but on a 2-3 year deal I'd be okay with any veteran QB.  He could help Allen with pre-snap reads, etc.  Would be a good vet starter.  Plus, all the 15 yard penalties we would get when another team gets near him.

Farve had a few good years left after leaving Green Bay.

I'd also go after Teddy B, but that would be less mentorship of JA and a competition scenario, which might be better overall because Brady could come here, and JA could still play like he has this year (subpar by any metric), once Brady retires.

Every metric except wins and losses that is  ?

Exactly. I’m sick of the accuracy complaints about Allen. It’s just easy for people that don’t know much about football to hang onto this theory because the media was saying it predraft. Bottom line is Allen is accurate on the short to mid stuff and the only real problem is the deep ball. I’m tired of hearing about the deep ball as if it’s some kind of high percentage throw to begin with.

Ummm...he’s right around 60% right now, so there’s that...

I am not sure why we still argue % percentage.  Haven't we covered this in a hundred posts before that there is little correlation between completion % and winning?

  4. Maybe Star played OK but to give him credit for yards per carry when he is on the field is a stretch.  11 guys out there.  Especially if you are pulling out the 65 yard run.  Getting pretty careless with the data, why not just build some graphs to make your point Joe B.

Joe B also did not mention Star spinning like a top and running the wrong way to open up a lane for Wentz on 3rd and 5 from deep inside their territory.  That play irked me because everyone else stayed home.  It was just one play but a big one.

  5. It won't matter what the Bills do to prepare if Belichek is watching them practice.  They have been caught before and I THINK they are still doing it one way or another.

Belichek is a Navy brat, surveillance is historically the primary Naval strategy isn't it?

Run real practices indoors and run fake practices outdoors.   That strategy won the Eagles a Superbowl against the Pats.

  6. Man this topic went off the rails.  What happened to the punt analysis.  Why weren't the gunners screaming and yelling for the ball?  Who is supposed to make that call besides Bojorquez?

I think Bojorquez might have had a bad hold on the missed filed goal to boot ?

Not to just beat the Bills in 2019 but to beat Josh Allen or Sean McDermott every time he plays them. Every bit of information is useful to Belichick.  Bodine was never going to make the team, he wanted to know everything about Allen from his center

If that was the case why didn't he just wait until Bodine was cut?  He did not need to trade a draft pick for that info.

  8. What is it you want her to know about the Bills?   Our 1 playoff appearance in 18 years or the four straight SuperBowl losses?

She is willing to be a football fan so the less she knows about the Bills at this point the better.   Our fan base is intoxicating (as well as intoxicated) and addictive so taking her to a game or a backers bar opens the gate for you to sway her onto our spacious bandwagon.  She will be dancing to the Shout song by the end of the first game.   With the team headed in the right direction (arguably to some) it is the perfect opportunity for you.  I know, I swayed a Denver girl into being a Bills fan.

Love the topic, way out of left field.   Go Bills!!!!
