  1. I am all on board on the next superstar wide receiver train however that recently drafted 7th rounder looks promising.......NOT. I sure hope that now that we have drafted a 1DT -- yes he did NOT play 1DT at Kentucky but we will use him that way -- to slide next to Ed Oliver when he is ready, that Ed Oliver can be the backfield disrupter that he was in college. So I hope Mr Beane finds that money elsewhere. With respect to your horse need that requires filling, perhaps you can acquire a horse from this guy?
  2. You need to have more faith in humanity during this Lent season Bills Brethren. I am sure like lawyers/attorneys that are buried at the bottom of the ocean, deep deep deep deep down those two are good people. You have to remember that there are good peeps on both sides of the butthole dividing line.
  3. YES , of course. Those are all draft day trades that are made only if Beane sees players drop into the 2nd round from he had 1st round grade on or are still available in the 2nd round within an accessible trade reach. I am NOT suggesting Beane start accumulating draft picks before the the draft. Just a plan for the happiest day of all happy days. NO prep needed now. No stockings need to be filed now. No gifts need to be wrapped now. Our "Christmas" is a very long way off...
  4. You just like that BIG personality of Dion eh? SHOWTIME!!! So you point to an outlier anomaly of Jason Peters who played TE in college and we drafted and molded into a LT as the rule of thumb that OL play into their late 30's? The truth is these are very big men with quick feet to be successful at the LT position in the NFL so as they gain age and weight playing excellent NFL football late into a career becomes difficult and often when the drop off in performance happens it is very rapid. So rotating a 2d round drafted OT in 2025 is by no means insane. The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results. That would be drafting yet another CB in the 1st round.
  5. Dion will be 31 years old in 2 weeks. NOT young. Brown hasn't got the feet to ever be a NFL LT. It wasn't that long ago that there was some discussion of the Bills cutting bait on him until he had a good enough season to warrant a post-rookie contract. The recent development on Bond is well recent => https://www.nbcsports.com/nfl/profootballtalk/rumor-mill/news/more-details-emerge-regarding-allegation-against-isaiah-bond I am not married to the pick and quite frankly my huge team of crack researchers were hitting the pipe hard that day. A WR in the 2nd round with speed makes sense and NO a 6'5" slow as a giraffe WR is NOT needed given our draft and salary cap investment in our 2 TEs. With respect to a CB, I am NOT adverse to drafting a CB although our history of drafting CBs too high or if they do work out, watching them leave always made me wonder who were these Bills fans who got excited when the Bills drafted yet another early round CB. Thank you for the revelation. I was hoping we would address our #2 CB starting position in Free Agency however perhaps the Bills see something in the CBs on the roster that you and I do NOT see.
  6. I see some real positive response here to this idea.
  7. AFTER THE TRADES HIT BY SPIKES 2ND ROUND ONLY MOCK DRAFT OT EMERY JONES JR LSU WR ISAIAH BOND TEXAS DE SHEMAR TURNER TEXAS A & M 1DT DEONE WALKER KENTUCKY
  8. Using this ==>. https://www.drafttek.com/NFL-Trade-Value-Chart.asp Our two 2nd round picks => 56th = 340 points and 62nd = 284 points Our 1st round pick => 30th = 620 points Our two 4th round picks => 109th = 76 points and 132nd = 40 points Our three 6th round picks => 169th = 23.8 points and 170th = 23.4 points and 173rd = 22.2 points` Total points available to attempt to trade for four 2nd round picks = 1,429.4 points 2nd round picks range from 580 points (33rd) to 270 points (270th) Therefore we certainly have the resources to obtain four 2nd round picks assuming we find willing trade partners.
  9. Should I do the work and actually attach names to a Bills 2025 Draft of four 2nd round picks and whatever is left late after the trades needed to obtain four 2nd round picks? If you push me, I will do it. I work well under pressure.
  10. Wise I am THE OP. Careful or you will be accused of living in a "Madden" World.
  11. Right!! Get as many picks in this draft's sweet spot however some here think there is a chance of finding that diamond in the rough in the 5th or 6th rounds where I suspect unpolished turds is the reality in those rounds and you know what they say about polishing a turd.
  12. You could NOT help yourself and give a Ditka of a response eh?
  13. Yeah it seemed to be one injury after another.
  14. So he is still built like a truck. He had a relatively short career in Buffalo but he was so fun to watch.
  15. What a hardship to have to pay 4 starters drafted in the 2nd round.
  16. Was evil witchcraft involved? NO one is going to defend that move by Beane. Nonetheless, every draft he seems to be able to trade around the board. ------------------------- Excellent idea!!! None of those 20 5th round picks will make the team and will probably be a very miserable bunch given they will quickly know that. You got room at your place to house 20 angry athletes for a few months?
  17. Wisdom. I have NO idea how Beane was able to make trades in previous drafts. He seems to be able to do it each and every year despite all GMs having the same information and desires. Are we so lucky as to have some sorta wizard as a GM?
  18. In what way? I have NEVER played Madden. Is it fun? Please tell me. ------------------------------- Those were my initial thoughts however I don't see one falling to where our 1st and one of our 2nd round picks gets us this defensive "game changer".
  19. My reading for what it is worth is that the 2nd round is particularly deep with plenty of "value" this year. We already pick twice in the 2nd round at #56 and #62. Our 1st round pick at #30 is essence a high 2nd round pick. What do you think if we trade our 1st round pick and our two 4th round picks (#109 and #132) plus our three 5th round picks (#169, #170 and #173) in a series of trades so we end up with four 2nd round picks? That would still leave us with our two 6th round picks (#177 and #206) for flyers. I just think this team's roster is currently too deep for a 4th or 5th round drafted player to make the line up unless he is a specialist of some sort. On the other hand, we may NOT get four 2025 starters from four 2nd round picks but we very well may get 4 starters by 2026. Four 2nd round picks could get the Bills a DT, a OL, a WR....whatever that would either start in 2025 or rotate in enough to become a starter in 2025.
  20. Same process in the Apple World on my iPhone, iPad, MacBook and iMac?
