Not that I know of, but I'm sure Trump knows all manner of 1950s Queens racial slurs that I have never even heard.
-
EDIT: Even I have become desensitized to how horrible a person Donald Trump really is. I was somehow unaware of this, only having read that he "mocked" Chao. Could there be anything more childish, more racist, more obnoxious than repeatedly making fun of a Chinese person's name?
-
Hey, I'm considerably more charitable regarding the former Secretary's talents than her boss is: https://www.newsweek.com/everything-trump-has-said-about-elaine-chao-she-finally-fires-back-1776666 Among one of the most repeated is Trump's nickname for Chao, often referring to his former employee as "Coco Chow," a term first coined by the former president in September 2022 in a Truth Social post. In a Truth Social post this month, Trump complained that the Senate minority leader and "his 'wife,' Coco Chow, who is a sellout to China," were making it "difficult for everyone else by constantly capitulating to Hopeless Joe Biden and the Democrats." Trump also dragged Chao into his attacks on President Joe Biden this week after Fox News on Sunday reported that some of the classified documents found in Biden's possession had been transported to a Washington, D.C., facility in the Chinatown neighborhood. "Does Coco Chow have anything to do with Joe Biden's Classified Documents being sent and stored in Chinatown?" Trump posted to Truth Social on Monday. "Her husband, the Old Broken Crow, is VERY close to Biden, the Democrats, and, of course, China. He gives them all whatever they want!"

My Pillow guy is hurting. https://lawandcrime.com/high-profile/mypillow-founder-mike-lindells-attorneys-bail-on-him-as-he-fights-5m-prove-mike-wrong-challenge-award/ Idiot issues a public bet - prove to me that this data doesn't show fraud and I'll give you $5million! Includes arbitration clause in "poorly written" contract. Computer guy takes him up on the challenge, proves to arbitrator that the so-called data is nothing more than random characters. Gets awarded $5 million. Lindell now trying to welsh on the deal. Isn't this how all Trumpy "voter fraud" claims end? As soon as they are subjected to actual scrutiny they crumble.

And Mitch McConnell's wife. And no particular experience in any of the areas under the Dept of Transportation's domain, other than being the daughter of an extremely wealthy Taiwanese shipping magnate and using that to get an earlier government post in the obscure Maritime Administration.
-
I have no idea if he's a good Transportation Secretary. That's one of the minor Cabinet positions that's always filled with political favors/identity picks, etc. Trump: Elaine Chao. From very wealthy family. Mitch McConnell's wife. Political and identity choice. Obama 2: Anthony Foxx (who)? Former mayor of Charlotte. Identity choice. Obama 1: Ray LaHood, former Republican congressman. Political choice. Bush 43-2: Mary Peters, online BA from University of Phoenix, former campaign chair for AZ Gov Jan Brewer. Political (and probably identity) pick Bush 43-1: Norm Mineta, former Democratic congressman, identity and political pick Clinton 2: Rodney Slater, Arkansas Clinton guy, identity and political pick Clinton 1: Federico Pena, former Denver mayor, identity pick Bush 41: Andrew Card, former campaign guy and Deputy Chief of Staff. Political pick Enough. I'm even boring myself (waiting for a meeting to begin). Notice a pattern? Notice the lack of anyone who went on to greater things?

Robert F. Kennedy Jr. for president in 2024?
The Frankish Reich replied to JaCrispy's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
Other than her money (and her appearance, which by the way was much better before she hit the Botox bottle a little too young and too hard), she has the qualification of being a great communications person: she is said to have financed and had "creative input" into that jarringly awful RFK Jr. 30 second Super Bowl spot. What a joker. Can we send him back to the Next Gen Kennedy scrapheap now? -
Robert F. Kennedy Jr. for president in 2024?

So has the intrigue dissipated just a bit? 😀 -
No. Do you? Is someone forcing you to follow him? Creeper.

The Mizzou/Yale/PC/Free Speech Topic
The Frankish Reich replied to FireChan's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
Greenwald has settled into continuous grudge settling ever since he (correctly) realized that the a lot of important people consider him complicit in that whole thing. Good thing Brazil is such a free and fair country! -
Good. Stupid hire. Trump hates her, and she's unlikely to have provided any insight into his campaign since I'm sure his people wouldn't be allowed to talk to her. And the establishment doesn't like her either ever since she gave up any semblance of independent thought and started following the Trump line. In other words, she would have added exactly nothing to their campaign coverage.

The Wall St Journal's "Best of the Web" blog used to mock stories that exhibited this kind of thinking. They'd give them a headline of, "Fox Butterfield, Is That You?" Fox Butterfield (real name!) wrote a New York Times story with the headline, "Despite Lowering Crime Rates, Jails Remain Full." Think about it for a minute. Or a second. Cause and effect? But that really was the mindset, and sadly still is after decades of data showing that repeat offenders are responsible for most crime. By the way, this is why decriminalization programs like Portland's drug experiment fail. Even for the category with the greatest "present orientation" - drug addicts - a simple thing like arresting and holding someone for a day or two changes the incentive structure. It forces them to miss out on their next high, and that in turn causes them to try their luck in another city, to keep their drug use out of plain sight, or even maybe try to get off drugs entirely.

TDS: A SCHLONG Four Years For The Afflicted
The Frankish Reich replied to BillsFanNC's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
Try these, then get back to me. Team Prick (has a ring to it, no?) Team Fanny (a nasty one in Britain!) Team Shart (I like that the best) If "Biden" meant BJ in German, I imagine the German version would ban it ... -

I can't help it if your candidate's name means FART in a wide swath of the English-speaking world. What don't you get about that? I'm giving you a perfectly good reason for why that name is rejected. Kind of like how they reject certain personalized license plates at the DMV. Do like John Oliver and name it Team Drumpf. Stop seeing nefarious schemes everywhere you look. Dude's Name Means Fart. -

An English friend once told me that "Trump" is a word for "fart" Maybe you should buy the game and try to name your side "Team Fart" -
I realize this is a response to a pretty old post, but ... ... it seems to me that Mayor Pete didn't do anything to call attention to his status as a gay man, other than simply stating that he was gay and then marrying another man. There's nothing ostentatious or show-offy or in-your-face about it. Yes, that may apply to others, but it doesn't apply to him.

Nick Fuentes = Fox News Tucker Trump
The Frankish Reich replied to BillStime's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
So given that Fuentes admits he was an IVF baby, does that in some way explain the self-hating Hispanic name thing? Guy has some serious issues, that's all I know. -
Everything you point to here is consistent with one thing: we are in an economic growth cycle. It's fine to say that that's not sustainable, that the economy is overheated and will inevitably result in a correction/recession, etc. But think about what that means: it means that the economy is strong now. It means that the Biden economy is strong. Why can't you admit that?

The Mizzou/Yale/PC/Free Speech Topic
The Frankish Reich replied to FireChan's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
Dammit, I missed that one. But thank you! Now I may seize the opportunity to say: "See, this is why editors are important, and we shouldn't treat tweeters as journalists!"
