  1. Yet somehow I'm pretty certain about what Kamala's policy positions are. At least as certain about what Trump's policies are. Weird how that works. One blathers on about Hannibal Lecter and sharks, yet somehow can't tell us how he will vote on Florida's Amendment 4 (abortion access). The other isn't giving interviews and isn't a Florida resident, but I'm certain that she is in favor of Amendment 4. Just ask me about any issue. I'm pretty damn sure of where Kamala stands. It's not like she hasn't been in elected office for two decades.
  2. And since when does "weapon" mean "firearm?" I saw armed insurgents, armed with all types of non-firearms that were used as weapons.
  3. Correct. I'm guessing it passes, just as every other pro-choice ballot measure has passed since Dobbs. So "leave it up to the people of the states" isn't good enough anymore?
  4. You mean like how Donald Trump took on Ron DeSantis, Nikki Haley and others in all those Republican debates?
  5. The median American homeowner is $120,000 wealthier!
  6. He looks like a homeless man appearing in court in his newly obtained Goodwill 3-piece suit. I told you I saw him on a steamy summer day at Walt Disney World wandering around outside in that same suit. That's some commitment to image! Here's some entertainment for the New Fans of Cornel:
  7. So I presume you're not voting for her. Democracy in action!
  8. Tarheel upset because DA Kamala threatened prosecution of parents who weren't sending their kids to school as the law requires. Wants a new generation of imbeciles to help Trumpies retain power. Now we know.
  9. No. It's just the old line in action: It is better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to speak and remove all doubt. If you have a problem with Harris not giving lengthy interviews (with the likes of, say, Dr. Phil), democracy says don't vote for her.
  10. And the cited NR article agrees with me: Thirty-seven days without an interview or press conference! Right now, some Trump campaign aide, exhausted from cleaning up his man’s stream-of-consciousness messes, is thinking, “If only we could be so lucky.” When your opponents are self destructing, just keep out of the way and watch.
  11. Trumpies: That pesky Kamabla just continues to ignore our advice! It's almost as if she likes to get out of the way while Trump and Vance continue to blather on about nonsense that somehow makes them even less popular.
  12. Nice to see Mr. Golden Trump Benz Bought American!
  13. "She's the most powerful voice in journalism" is so out of touch with reality. It tells us a lot more about the people who post such nonsense than it does about anything actually happening in the world. Sadly typical though.
  14. Ray Epps! Go on, keep telling people not to believe their eyes. It was a mostly peaceful riot.
  15. They "disorient" him! Poor guy, all disoriented. Too bad Mamaw isn't around to set him straight again.
  16. I usually don't like these ghost duets. This is nicely done. Porter has a fantastic voice and it takes some huevos to put it up next to Nat King Cole. Fantastic voice, yes, but that Cole phrasing from being a jazz pianist, timbre, whatever else may explain it ... Porter just can't compete with him.
  17. Exactly. Most of these people signed up early on. They obviously thought they could have a positive impact on Trump, channeling his PR skills into actual policy. They all failed.
  18. See, now this is the kind of hard-hitting interview Harris has been dodging. Dr. Phil's MeritTV, whatever that is.
  19. Yep. War dead as political ad. Do people think that would be RFK voters are so out of the loop that they won't know that he's withdrawn? That he's thrown his support to Trump? If they are that ignorant, well, I'm not sure they should be voting at all. Shows you how much the Trump team thinks of them.
  20. You said a hybrid of populism and classical liberalism. I'm not seeing how that works, but I guess you may be able to convince me. A hybrid of classical liberalism and protectionism is, on the other hand, a contradiction in terms. Kind of like authoritarian anarchist.
  21. Now that you mention it ... it is rather squinty
  22. Not at all weird. Not at all an embarrassment to Americans.
  23. A lobbyist is a lobbyist. They always know what side their bread is buttered on. Namely, the winning side. After Julie caused her hubby major embarrassment by going all in on Trump, I guess he convinced her that some major hedging was in order.
  24. Thank you. It wasn't hard to see through her. A couple quick google searches and I discovered - back when the Trumpies started quoting her all the time - that she was married to a big Agribusiness lobbyist and that her suburban cookie baking mom shtick was all in service of his clients. Ask her where she stands on that new Republican bugaboo, lab-grown meat. That question would be certain to shut her down.
  25. None of this endorsement stuff matters. No one cares. Tulsi Gabbard does not have a passionate group of supporters who weren't already voting for Trump. Her support, such as it is, comes from the alt media obsessed Trump wing already.
