  1. I voted yes. I just hope we could work/understand the contact and cap hit prior to sending a 2d round pick.
  2. What I couldn't understand about the talking heads picking the Pats* was their reasoning; the Pats vaunted defense. It's good, for sure, but the Bills have the #1 defense in the NFL?!?
  3. I’ll be there. My first Bills game!! A buddy has Jax season tix, in the north end zone. Can’t wait to see all the Bills fans there too!
  4. I’m not comfortable until it’s a 3 score game. Why not put the game away beyond all doubt every time you can? The 2 point conversion…I was happy to have the live “practice”.
  5. This is what I thought the post was going to be. Don’t know that I’m relieved to read what it actually was. Have we jumped the shark in week 1?
  6. In recent memory? I think, yes! We don't go up against 11-1 teams very often with talk of #1/2 seeds a reality for us. That being said, I'm sure the pundits will say, when we win, that Pitts schedule thus far has been one of the easiest in the NFL, and perhaps they weren't that good after all. Is that too cynical a take? Anyway, we've had some big games and beat some good teams in recent memory, but this just feels different.
  7. That's a fair point. I was thinking more of a single lead back. But with respect to the OPs take on it, I just don't think it's the time to abandon Beane's philosophy to this point. If the best guy on the board, when we're up is an RB, go get em!
  8. I don't see him breaking with his philosophy, and the philosophy that got us to this point. Motor did a fine job last year when asked to. I can't imagine using our first pick for what might amount to RB depth. If Beane doesn't keep looking far down the road we'll end up in cap hell again before we know it. And no Superbowls again...to show for it. My $.02 Fortunately we don't have many glaring holes but I could imagine Beane keeping the first picks on the Def side of the ball. A CB perhaps to stay young there, in case we can't resign White. Go Bills!
  9. I agree with everything here. I think Allen actually played a decent game today. Good throw-away decisions, runs, etc. On a day like today it comes down to a running game. Philly had one and we didn't. Why so few runs? Especially for Singletary; is he still injured?
  10. Great observations from the OP. Watching that first half just reminded me that Fitz-Magic is a real thing. Fortunately, it's a fleeting thing. During the 2nd half we did a better job of adjusting and bottling him and the running attack up. It seemed like the Phins were playing with a lot of pride, and that can be enough to win an NFL game. Overall, I am concerned that our offense couldn't deliver the blowout it should have, but we did enough to win. Keep doing just enough to win...my blood pressure can take it. Go Bills!
  11. I love this move. Agree with most, this was way overdue. My concern now is this: Is Zay Jones a #1 WR? Does it matter at this point in the season? Go Bills!
  12. What I was struck by were the WRs, TEs, and OT getting some separation and completing catches (KB notwithstanding). They didn't seem to make those catches in previous weeks. Where they better thrown balls from Barkley? After KBs drop in the endzone I didn't see him get thrown at again until later. I remember the ball was popped up with Jet's defenders diving for it...and there was KB just standing there watching it happen. No fight, no care. Am I remember that play correctly? I also don't remember seeing him on the field much after that play. I missed a portion of the 4th quarter, so if someone could fill me in. He don't seem to care, so I'm happy to see him on the bench I guess.
