  1. After reviewing your evidence I am convinced, more than ever, that there was a second shooter.
  2. These stories all used to come from fringe outlets, but, increasingly, the mainstream media are covering them with more and more frequency.
  3. Grew up listening to Bills home games on the radio (they were always blacked out on TV) with Van Miller on the call. When I joined here I had a Chevy Van. I love word chains, was once in a band called Bar Stool Pigeons, thus ChevyVanMiller was born.
  4. Great piece, @Virgil. Two thoughts that I would like to add: another player that is greatly under appreciated is DaQuan Jones. He gets penetration on almost every play and ties up at least two players in the middle of the field giving plenty of space for Von, Groot, Shaq and company to make plays. Von Miller has been a complete home run signing. If we had only gotten his play on the field that would have been enough. But every time I hear him interviewed his astute knowledge of the history of the game and his evolution as a senior player who understands the mental aspect of football is amazing. His “Don’t blink“ mantra has permeated the entire team. Even the head coach is quoting it in his press conferences. When we finally win a Super Bowl, Von Miller will be a huge reason for it, both for his on and off field personas.
  5. The problem with that theory is that the Bills can pick him up for this season only. As I understand it he can be cut after the season with the Bills taking just a minimal cap hit. Now, a rental player is not worth one 1st, let alone multiples, so the Panthers would have to be willing to settle for a much smaller draft bounty.
  6. I think the kick-off should be high and down to about the five. The Bills have a great special teams coverage unit and would probably make the tackle inside the 20-yard line while taking seven or eight seconds off of the clock. Also, on the second play from scrimmage they should simply have tackled all of the wide receivers at the line of scrimmage. The result would be a 5-yard penalty while taking enough time off the clock that the Chiefs would’ve had no opportunity for the field goal.
  7. It was a Mercedes Sprinter Van. State-of-the-art in the transportation industry.
  8. How about Romo saying early in the game, "I don't think this is going to be a high scoring game like everyone is predicting. I think it will be more like a 24-20 type score?" Pretty wild.
  9. The waiting is the hardest part.
  10. Speaking of goaltending, Anderson stopped three fully-clear breakaways last night. If he doesn't come up big it's a different outcome. Don't know how long his body will hold up, but he was stellar last night.
  11. That’s wonderful. I ran into Rick last week coming out of a supermarket in Niagara Falls, Ontario. He was wearing a fleece vest with a Sabres logo. I said, “ Hi, RJ, great seeing you here.” He responded with, “Nice to see you, Tiger.” Great moment.
  12. Iykyk
  13. Those are the kind of moments that will warm your soul forever. Very happy for you.
  14. It will happen on February 12th, 2023. FOX play by play man Kevin Burkhardt is on the call. "It's 4 and 1 from the 1-yard line and the Bills are foregoing the tying FG and are going for it right here. Josh Allen is under center, he takes the snap and fakes the handoff to Singletary. He rolls to his left and is going to try and bootleg it into the endzone. Eagles linebacker T.J. Edwards closes in. Allen trucks him into the turf and Superman dives to the pylon. The Bills win, the Bills win their first Super Bowl in dramatic fashion. Rejoice Western New York, you have Lombardi and no one can ever take it away."
  15. RIP, Dave Dryden.
  16. A timely tip...
  17. Your moniker and your outlook seem to be at odds with one another.
  18. Here's a great article on the probability of picking up a first down on 3rd or 4th and 1 yard situations. A QB sneak is far and away the best option. A FB quick hitter is the only other option that has a good success rate. Handing the ball off to Zach Moss did not chart. https://sports.sites.yale.edu/success-short-yardage-play-types-fourth-down
  19. What an amazing lady and performer. This song is sort of the antithesis to Dolly Parton's "Jolene." RIP Loretta.
  20. Better than the guy that has won 75% of his games in Buffalo?
