  1. I think in my own final mock top 10.....the Bills are going to take Mike Williams. I hope Hooker falls but it ain't happening.

    1. Browns - Myles Garrett, DE

    2. 49ers - Solomon Thomas, DE

    3. Bears - Jamal Adams, S

    4. Jaguars - Jonathan Allen, DE

    5. Titans - Marshon Lattimore, CB

    6. Jets - Malik Hooker, S

    7. Chargers - Derek Barnett, LB

    8. Panthers - Leonard Fournette, RB

    9. Bengals - Corey Davis, WR

    10. Bills - Mike Williams, WR

Because we're Buffalo that's what's going to happen.

    10. Bills - If that's how the top 10 goes I'm trading back no further then 14-18.

  3.

We need the BPAI wouldn't take BPA if it's a RB or DE.Safety and it's not close. Especially playing Brees, Brady twice, Matt Ryan, Derek Carr, and Rivers. Plus Cam Dalton Luck Tannehill and a matchup with Travis Kelce.CB is #2. And since 5 of these guys will be gone in addition to Davis and the 2 DEs....I'd look into trading back, drafting OJ Howard, a DT, or RT. My over under on wins by the way is 5. The schedule in addition to the secondary being a mess--we better hope the front 7 is beast--that means significant impact from Lawson and Ragland and Dareus being the 2014 Dareus.I would never make a draft pick based on the upcoming years schedule. That's nuts. .
Don't misunderstand....I agree....I'm just using the upcoming schedule as an additional reason. The main reason is the secondary is the worst position on the team..WRs is a close 2nd.

  5. Who knows if this is true but it seems like Lynn is in Taylor's corner and it appears Taylor is getting the feeling someone is not in his corner who you think would have to be Whaley. I am really thinking Whaley is the problem here...not all these coaches are perfect but hasn't Whaley had a poor relationship with about four of them now?

The incident began with Marrone, who sources said has had a strained relationship with director of player personnel Jim Monos from their time together in New Orleans, getting into a loud exchange with Monos in which the men were cursing at each other to the point where others noticed ("they were more or less MFing each other," is how one source put it). General manager Doug Whaley then intervened. The expletives continued and finally team president and acting owner Russ Brandon tried to defuse the situation by getting involved in an attempt to get all parties to "shut up," as one source put it. But that too escalated into more yelling and hollering, with Brandon and Marrone ultimately separated by their peers and Marrone, in earshot of players, making remarks along the lines of "go ahead and fire me," before order was restored and the team took the field for practice.http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/writer/jason-la-canfora/24695455/buffalo-tension-boils-over-in-shouting-match-for-marrone-bills-officials

    Marrone quit.

    Rex was....whatever.

And Lynn is reconsidering the job.

Whaley Brandon Monos are still here.

    All is well.

  6. All need to be re-evaluated: Jim Monos: our Director of player personnel---has he interviewed to be a GM anywhere? Get rid of him Rob Hanrahan: Director of pro personnel---same. Get rid of him Kelvin Fisher: player personnel advisor. What the heck does he even do? I'm done focusing on Brandon. These guys in the player personnel departments are a bigger problem. They suck for identifying and bringing in guys like Gillislee, Lorenzo Alexander and Zach Brown.
How much of Lorax and Zach Brown or any of them were Rex? We know he wanted Incognito.

I said re-evaluated. I think they can all go and we'd be better off.If you think Monos is doing a heck of a job....great. Maintain the status quo. Or let's all keep the heat on Russ Brandon.

  7. Oh my God.

Can Mr. or Mrs. Pegula please say "We're going to leave this to the football people. We want Doug to make this call for what HE thinks is best going forward....bc you know....we're very new at this and clearly botched Rex."

Right. Like a hiring a head coach is just another "football" decision. It isn't.

You can rest assured Whaley will do the yeoman's work, but the Pegulas will give their blessing or not.

Yea they sign the checks it's their team I get it blah blah.

But they're unqualified to even give their 2 cents in the decision. It's just a fact.

A cold hard fact. God bless him for all he's done for our teams and the city.

But when it comes to personnel and structure (for both teams) the Pegulas are putting up red flag after red flag of incompetent management.

  8. @SalSports

Just spoke with Bills co-owner Kim Pegula who told me she expects team to interview 5-6 HC candidates as opposed to the 12 or so 2 years ago

Kim said ownership/front office will begin meeting tomorrow to further discuss candidates, player evaluations, and off-season direction.

Kim Pegula also reiterated to me she likes qualities Anthony Lynn brings to HC position, but he is certainly "not a lock."

Kim Pegula: "I believe in continuity and really wanted to make that happen. But, we just realized team wasn't going in direction we wanted"

    Oh my God.

  9. "(Whaley) had input on the basis of conversations throughout the year, what the problems were," Pegula said. "But did Doug ever say, 'Are we firing our coach, are we keeping our coach?' We never had that conversation. I took it upon myself to tell Rex on the basis of conversations about the games and the aftermath of certain games that, hey, things aren't going well."

----Spur of the moment decision made by owner who's inner circle did not include his GM

He's so in over his head.
