Correct. Whether we like it or not - this team’s defense (not so the O) is not going to be as good in September as it will be in December. If it stays healthy. The rookie D linemen. The suspensions. Bishop. Max’s development. It still should be good. Especially you know, since we have a defensive head coach and whatever Babbich does, I would expect it to be top 10 barring catastrophic injuries. But it’s potential….I mean you’re also looking at a 2 year development here. It will be even better next year if all goes to plan. With a hole at DE to fill. Hopefully nothing else. Maybe Bosa has more in the tank.
