  1. I think this is kind of the problem nowadays. Qbs never used to start their first season. They sat and learned the game over a season or two. Now we throw them in and expect immediate success. I wasn't a fan of Ej in college but I believe in our front office. They drafted him seeing an upside that I didn't. I saw two games that Ej played really poorly in. Pittsburgh and Tampa. I thought he played well enough or pretty well in others. I will gladly give him another season to show me what he's got
  2. There is a lot of talent on this team. We just don't have any real game changers There are also a lot of question marks still. Quarterback, new def scheme, overall depth. I am hoping Ej takes the next step and can stay healthy. My opinion is we go 8-8 maybe 9-7 but barely miss the playoffs. That's only if Ej stays healthy though
  3. Like the first two. We need defensive end in the third. Not sure why people prefer Moncrief to Mathews. Moncrief would disappear in a lot of games while Mathews was usually pretty consistent on a team where he was the only weapon. Just my opinion though.
  4. I agree. No way they give that much up. Maybe I'm falling for the lies a bit but I believe he was being honest when talking about Ebron and seeing what they have with the tight ends already on the roster. He said a very similar thing when asked about drafting a Qb.
  5. I actually enjoy reading different perspectives on the draft. Not this one though
  6. Exactly what I was thinking. How does the best OT in football change a game like the best wr. Its not apples to apples. I have no problem taking an OT but to compare a top tackles production to a top receiver isn't equal.
  7. I'm a huge Spiller fan. If it's true the Bills were going for Johnson I just don't get it. Spiller is very similar to Cj in running style but I feel he is better catching the ball. I can't compare their ability to block bc I don't know how well Johnson is at that but I know Spiller struggles with pass blocking. Like some others have said I feel Spiller can take it to the house at any time and I hope that we can help build a line to help him show what he can do.
  8. .I think bringing in Williams shows the Bills being cautious. Evans is getting a lot of hype and could easily be gone by our pick. I also really like Mathews from Vandy but not at 9. If Evans is still there I wouldn't be surprised if he is the pick
  9. I could totally see this happening. I'm just not a big fan of Lewan.
  10. If they were able to land one of these they probably wouldn't go WR with the first pick.
  11. I hope it's Evans as well. Go tackle in rd 2 and Skov or Jeffcoat in 3
  12. Wish he could've lived to see the Bills be a contender again. RIP Mr. Wilson
  13. Ej has always had problems with the deep ball. A big reason I was nervous about him coming out of college. http://www.bigcatcountry.com/2013/2/8/3966860/scouting-nassib-manuel-and-dysert-a-metrics-breakdown
  14. No way Clowney falls to us. Take Evans or trade back and take Jordan Mathews or Kelvin Benjamin and gain a 2nd or 3rd round pick
  15. Ej does a lot of the same things that he did in college that prevented me from being a fan. Dump offs and short throws. I'm really rooting for the kid and hope he gets better. He did have a few impressive games. Hopefully there will be many more this year.
  16. Blake Bortles reminds me a lot of EJ.
  17. He is a great player that will most likely be drafted in the first 20-25 picks. If we draft defensive line I think it would be a defensive end. If we run a 4-3 who is the DE opposite Mario. Doesn't seem like a strong 4-3 DE draft though.
