  1. You mean Tim McVeigh? Oklahoma City
  2. Interviewing with Rams for HC job. https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/football-insider/wp/2017/01/02/redskins-sean-mcvay-will-interview-for-l-a-rams-opening-at-head-coach/?utm_term=.2f098020776f Who's Tim McVay?
  3. It sounds like he works well and commands respect in spite of his age. Yes experience always helps and is a reasonable assessmant. There have been great coaches who have started at that age and been successful. I don't want to look back after somebody hires him, and say damn, he would have been what we wanted. Yeah that is a worry you never know for sure. It speaks to me that veteran guys like Callahan have respect for him. I would love to hear what they say to the question- is he ready?
  4. I respect this man! We disagree about Tyrod. But, this is a positive development.
  5. Sean McVay OC Washington Redskins. Or Lynn/Bradley
  6. 2BD universe of course Metz.
  7. http://mmqb.si.com/mmqb/2016/08/02/nfl-washington-sean-mcvay-offensive-coordinator-head-coach-kirk-cousins-jay-gruden I think he would make a great hire. Somebody will hire this bright, 30 year old offensive mind in the near future. Why not us? He has great pedigree and respect from colleagues and elders. Look what he's done with Cousins.
  8. Thanks and great post! Evidence is troubling to some. You know what's missing from this discussion is that nobody acknowledges the uncertainty with acquiring players. To put it in simpler terms there is a lot of luck, a hell of a lot. I bet a coin flip would do better than alot of GMs.
  9. He has personal pride and confidence. He knows he needs to improve. Not going to go on there and say I wasn't good enough after last weeks performance with the lingering situation.
  10. Excellent thoughts! I think he comes back and we need him. Still keep trying to improve the position as well.
  11. So a .500 record then. That is the most overused cliche in sports. Bill Walsh was 8-24 after 2 seasons. Was he what his record said at the time, or was he building something and part of the process was occuring. Not saying Whaley is Walsh.
  12. We should consider this guy. http://mmqb.si.com/mmqb/2016/08/02/nfl-washington-sean-mcvay-offensive-coordinator-head-coach-kirk-cousins-jay-gruden
  13. I like this guy alot. he would be a great hire IMO. http://mmqb.si.com/mmqb/2016/08/02/nfl-washington-sean-mcvay-offensive-coordinator-head-coach-kirk-cousins-jay-gruden
  14. Sean McVay is my choice. I doubt he's even on the list to be interviewed. But, I'd hire this guy in a minute. http://mmqb.si.com/mmqb/2016/08/02/nfl-washington-sean-mcvay-offensive-coordinator-head-coach-kirk-cousins-jay-gruden
  15. Very interesting! this guy seems to be pretty confident. I'm still kind of wondering if Coughlin isn't lurking.
  16. Before your appearance Major, all I could think about was almost everyone on this thread has NEVER been a decision-maker.
  17. Great Post! The buck stops with the HC.
  18. Terrific move by the organization losing this game! Love it.
  19. Happy New Year!
  20. Love those three guys. We would be in great shape picking one of those guys at an area of need. Good call.
  21. It's a POINTS based game. The strategy changes when the rules become most passing yards wins. BOL
  22. If we can just figure out how to make Sullen a "NO SHOW" it would be awesome!
