Scoring in football has traditionally been about 20-22 pts/game until recently. The game is much better balanced when this is adhered to. And, the average has moved back down in that direction which I think is a positive. As you said, some teams are running more and defense means something. Now if we can get the guy in NY to read the rule book about reversing calls.
I think you do what you usually do. The Bills will attempt to be balanced early in the game and mix run and pass and try to get the lead. That is Bills football, put pressure on Jags offense with Bortles and force him into turnovers. They are not going to come out firing the ball all over the place nor should they.
Do you really mean the Bills should go away from their strength (running the ball) and attack the Jags strength (pass defense). I completely disagree with this.
What does better mean? More accomplished, more talented, better point differential, more likely to play better in the future etc. or all of the above and then some?
They play like an undisciplined rabble. I wonder if Gase hasn't lost this team. His team has the exact opposite character of McDermott's team.
