It's a long shot to come back, but if we do, this kick has to go through to make it a 2 score game. I have never been less confident in a kicker, so there's that.....

The players on the field haven't been great, but the coaches are the ones I am putting a majority of the blame on. The game plan stunk coming in on both sides of the ball. And then in game decisions from punting when you shouldn't, calling trick plays when you shouldn't, etc. We were out-coached severely tonight.

Hamlin is awful. He's so behind in what he is seeing and he is slow physically as well. Not a good combination. We need a huge upgrade there as well.

Whelp.....you had them. Can't tackle and your done. That's where you miss Taron Johnson.

If we can hold them to 3, that will be a gigantic win. Just hoping Allen is OK.

That call by Brady just took away everything we were building. No need to get cute there.

Ugh......not what we needed there. So hard to run a play like that when you can't hold up on the line.

It's probably going to take one of those "Hero Ball" games from Allen to win tonight. It's obvious that the game plan was to try and beat these guys with short to intermediate passing tonight and the Ravens seemed to know that was coming. They didn't believe the Bills could beat them down the field with their WRs and they were getting exactly what they wanted from us. It's time for Allen to take over and flip the script.

It's a game like this that shows just how much you need a WR1, especially in crucial situations. I just don't think Coleman is that guy. The "Everybody Eats" mentality is great, but you still need supreme talent to pull it off consistently. Right now, we may have the guys with the right mentality, but lack the talent that you need to beat good teams. I said it after this draft was over.....we are going to enter next year's draft still in search of that true WR1.

The difference in this game to the previous 3? The trenches. Allen was hardly touched/pressured in the first 3 game. It looked like our line was a wall. This week, everyone is missing blocks and getting beat physically. Same thing on defense. While our defensive line can rush the passer in most cases, when they are getting mauled in the run game, it changes everything. They aren't built to stop the run. Styles make fights and the Ravens are the exact opposite of what we are built to stop.

Whelp...... that's probably it. 4 down territory for the rest of the game.

For the first time this season, a team is exploiting our backup LBs. We are really missing our All Pros in this game in Milano and Johnson along with Bernard.

If we're going to win this game, it's going to have to be on offense. We might have to score 50, though. Should have gone for it there too..... I was way too quick to give McDermott his flowers for going for it deep in his own end on the first drive. There have been 2 times since where he should have gone for it to try and get momentum back and he chickened out. Playing scared just like our defense is right now. Oh well. Gotta hold them to a FG at worst here.

There are a lot of strange things going on so far and none of them are good.

Why did they blow the play dead? I'm really confused. They literally threw the flag for holding and then blew the play dead??? Did I miss something? Allen had the ball and could have drawn a defensive penalty to offset them. I have never seen a play stopped in the middle of it due to holding. It's not like it was a pre-snap penalty. Seriously, did I miss something?

That right there is one of the reasons I would have liked to see McDermott go for it in that situation. Gotta keep the offense off the field early and try to make them play from behind. Best way to beat the Ravens is scoring early and make them throw the ball.

Ugh.....

Just once I would like to see Brady go play action on 2nd and short. Ugh...... McDermott giveth and McDermott taketh away. Would have liked to see them go for it there too.

Whelp, another week and another bet on the opponent! Hurting the wallet a bit, but can't break the streak! Here's to me losing yet another bet, but celebrating after the game. GO BILLS!

The next 3 weeks are going to be a gauntlet for sure. Maybe the toughest stretch of the schedule. There are a lot of seasons where I would think we would slip up, even against good teams, because of a lack of focus. That said, while we may certainly lose a couple of these games, I am fully confident in saying it won't be because of lack of focus. Josh actively pointed out that we are heading into a hostile environment and playing "2 time MVP, Lamar". This was not on accident. As much as Josh says MVPs mean nothing to him, and maybe they don't, I think it does actively bug him that he believes that maybe those MVPs, especially last year's, wasn't entirely deserved and I believe he will be looking at this game as a statement game. Then we have Houston. Well, we all know what that game and narrative will be about. I honestly believe that this team, Allen in particular, has had this game circled on their calendars. I wouldn't be surprised if this is the one game that they want to win more than any other. I think the offense has a huge chip on their shoulder and would love nothing more than to put up 40+ on that team. Obviously, it won't be easy because they are a really good football team, but I do think they will be 100% focused heading into the game. And finally, you have the Jets. Who knows where the records will be heading into this game, but it is obviously a Division game that means the most out of any of the next 3. It is also a team that Allen has struggled with at times and I think he knows that he has a chance to right a lot of wrongs in that game. He also is good friends with Rodgers and he would absolutely love to beat him. So yeah......it's going to be a tough stretch for sure, but I see this team remaining highly motivated to get all of them. In reality, 2-1 would be awesome and I think all of us would sign up for that right now. We really need to get at least one, though. Three......well, that would be a dream, but man, the hype train would be flying off the tracks if that happened. GO BILLS!

This was a great night. And we all deserve to enjoy it, especially the players. But man, next Sunday night is where we will have an opportunity to make a huge statement. It's not going to be easy to go on the road and beat that team in their house in prime time. Gotta show up ready because it's going to be a completely different kind of test.

I'm not sure there is a better CB tandem in the league right now. Dudes are getting after it and they know how good they are.
