  1. I never blamed him for that. I was so incensed by what was going on, I would have done the same thing. Nobody talks about what the refs did in Super Bowl 26.
  2. Is he supposed to get drafted, too? He's a local kid, I believe.
  3. Yeah, I read that in today's paper. The NHL has an agreement with the CHL that anybody who is still eligible for juniors can't play in the AHL. The Sabres tried this conditioning loophole, but that got nixed by the NHL. It also mentioned the two N/A players on one team is the limit rule..........That might have been what I heard on the radio when I was also trying to work, but it did sound to me like they were limited in how many they could send down to Rochester at one time.
  4. And, then he's not accepting Google's apologies. The picture is going to be gone in a few days - wtf!
  5. I knew there was something else tipping me off!
  6. OK. I'm back to hating him.
  7. Thanks! So, my memory was right. In our first 8 years with tickets, only one year did we have 2 games. Man, I wish it was like that again! (Especially now that we have one less real game!)
  8. Now NHL says not so fast: http://www.usatoday.com/story/sports/nhl/sabres/2013/11/20/mikhail-grigorenko-ahl-assignment-blocked/3651917/
  9. That's what I'm doing! LOL
  10. Yeah, I could be wrong! LOL.............But, that's how I heard it. I haven't looked into any of it.........But, I would have the same questions as you. I have no idea why he couldn't just play in Rochester...........Another guess from just listening without reading up on it - it seems like you can only send two down to the AHL at a time...........So, they seemed to get an extra on out of this "conditioning" loophole. I'm not standing by anything I say here! (I usually am quite sure of what I'm saying but not with this one)
  11. My first year of season tickets was 1986, and I am quite sure that for a number of years we did not have 2 preseason games in Orchard Park. They would do exactly what you are talking about. I'm pretty sure there was a year or two with no preseason games here.
  12. They were able to send Grigerenko down to Rochester by calling it some kind of "conditioning" thing. Schopp was laughing how Nolan sounded like somebody trying to get a kid out of school at his press conference "He's had the flu. I've had the flu. It's going around."..............I think he gets two weeks of this, and then they have to decide juniors or Sabres. I have no idea why and what the rules are.
  13. Brad Riter (who is on the coverage of the UB games) has been dreaming all fall about Kiko and Mack together!
  14. How does she say "What's going on?" like an American after speaking Spanish like that? Seems fake.
  15. “When I see this image, that's still like that happened yesterday,” said Barrera. “And that brings me back to a lot of memories.” I've got an idea - don't look up Google Maps in that spot!
  16. They said Mack is #7 on Kiper's board??
  17. Ha - he's just boosting sales!
  18. And now Holder is back with his civil rights case. Was he waiting for this timing?: http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2013/11/19/eric-holder-george-zimmerman_n_4305478.html
  19. I have to admit I don't hate him so much now that I see how much he loves Buffalo and the Bills
  20. Binghamton seems to have a surprising number of Bills fans.
  21. You realize that you just blew up the whole argument for Zimmerman's guilt in the Trayvon case?
  22. No fruit should be involved with candy.
  23. When I was at SU for my Masters - 1990-92, I would see people in red white and blue Starter jackets (pretty much the only NFL ones) and I'd have to look closer to see if it was Bills or Giants. They really were the two main teams. And, during my whole time, every Bills game was broadcast on the NBC affiliate, which was nice!
