  1. IMO, this is so true. And, I don't care what side the stickers are on. But, I had to take a picture last year (I'll try to find it) of a car with two bumper stickers next to each other. One was for something like The Peace Center of WNY. The other said "Born OK the first time" or something like that. In other words - "Eff you, Christians"...............So much tor that whole Peace thing!
  2. That was all Jimbo's then. Because I remember an interview with him in the paper - talking about what they were an odd couple that got along. He said I like my beer - and Greg doesn't drink.
  3. This is more confusing than True Detective
  4. This show is ridiculous this season.
  5. On twitter, she would need to follow him in order to get a DM from him, right? Why would she follow him if she was going to pull this crap?
  6. Kudos to the conditioning staff for keeping him hydrated.
  7. I've been thinking that celebs and players must hate that now they are asked to pose for pictures all the time. I'd rather just sign an autograph. I couldn't fake a smile 100 times a day.
  8. There were a lot of grey hairs (actually, mostly women who would be grey hairs if it were not for the miracle of hair dye) all over my facebook feed today. All of them taking lots of pictures of themselves in the parking lot, etc. One of them, I actually went to the July 4, 1978 show with. And, I thought - we didn't friggin waste all this time back then. We experienced it - we didn't have to document it for the world.
  9. Polish Villa was the setting for Christina Applegate's show Jesse in the late 90s:
  10. I think Thurman probably used to be a jerk, but I don't think he is any more.
  11. I ran into him "pregaming" out at a lake bar - in the parking lot - in '83. Somehow, I had words with him. No idea why but I know he was being a jerk............And, would have killed me. Then over the years, two more friends had these types of encounters with him. It seemed like those were closer to actually getting in fights. And, each friend is tougher than the next. They would have at least given him a good fight.................But, even the bigger of the two said "I would have been honored to have my ass kicked by Darryl Talley" LOL But, i don't think of any of the three of us would categorize DT as "Bills you no longer like after meeting them in person"
  12. Tortoises are cockblockers
  13. Interesting!
  14. Let's tank again, like we did last winter! (Apologies to Chubby Checker)
  15. Movie Michael Calleri THE ROLLING STONES BUFFALO FRANK LLOYD WRIGHT POSTER. Mick and Charlie visited the Frank Lloyd Wright-designed Darwin Martin house on Jewett Parkway in Buffalo on Friday. See my post below. They are both great students of architecture. The Rolling Stones have issued a poster commemorating their visit to Buffalo and Frank Lloyd Wright. For out-of-towners, the extraordinary Darwin Martin Complex is a major completed restoration project and tourist attraction.
  16. It seems like it's more of a rush job to get it up online ASAP.
  17. This is the first time the Stones are in Buffalo since 1975 and I'm not going to be there. I think I've only missed one of the Syracuse concerts, as well. So jealous of you people going - have fun!!
  18. I had an argument with Harrington once on twitter, where I said whoever is proofreading sucks or something to that effect, and he claimed they're doing a great job............I can see making mistakes online, but the print edition shouldn't be so horrible that I have to figure out what they really meant with those words.
  19. Hmmm. Sounds like a winning pitch!
  20. What are the odds that the dance teacher found a 17 year old male dance student who was straight??
