  1. I'm not a meteorologist, but that ain't looking like snow to me.
  2. I think so, too. Right after that season, I was talking to a scout, and I told him about that play. He said he didn't see it yet, but he would - and he would definitely take it into account. I had asked him if that's something they would look past.
  3. Oh well - I guess I'm committed at this point.
  4. I'm hate-watching at this point!
  5. I'm probably wrong on this, but I think the microfracture part (which somebody above pointed out, sounds relatively harmless) is what the surgeon actually does to the kneecap - it's not a tiny fracture from an injury. The surgeon makes the tiny fracture and I believe that is supposed to trigger cartilage growth and other healing things.
  6. I thought Imbiid has problems with his feet, not his knee?
  7. You'll know more about it once it happens to you.
  8. I have to say that I don't think I would have recognized either one, anyway. Freddie Hilton was before his time - he needed the three point line!
  9. Their faces were not in the picture. I'm not sure who the ones are just by their bodies and numbers. Is that who they are?
  10. How is that every one of these paparazzi pictures of celebrities has them holding coffee? Usually it seems to be Starbucks.
  11. I agree with all that, and I know it wasn't just the one play. I just hated him for what he did that last year when SC fans thought they had a shot at the national championship. I'll never forget that played I happened to catch. It's all I needed to know. I'm not sure if real football players can turn on and off that competitiveness.
  12. When I looked at that picture last night, I knew exactly who every player was. And, that's Walt Hazzard with the ball.
  13. Exactly. I've said it before, but it was a crucial play in OT, and I saw him make a run at the QB, miss and then just watch the rest of the play.............The next day, I watched Mario do the same thing, but get back up and win the game by getting to Tannehill (I believe), forcing him into a bad pass on 4th down. When I used to talk about this, people told me that Clowney will do what Mario did once he gets paid to do it. I don't know - I think he has a lot of Maybin in him. I can even see taking a few plays off during the game. But, this was do or die at this point.
  14. I would aid and abet her And, I don't even know what abetting is. But, I'd still do it.
  15. I'll say, as one who has made some negative comments - and really hated him with the Bills, that I am really glad that he's not another story of the athlete who blows all his money. I'm glad he's doing well. I just don't like the guy, though.
  16. I was just going to post this. He was really good, before the Braves were good. Another bit of my childhood gone. :wallbash:
  17. Bills have done pretty well in that dept. with OJ and Bruce. Two of the best ever..........So, Walt Patulski didn't work out that well..... The team that had bad luck for a long time were the Colts. It seemed like they drafted #1 every year.
  18. We must be down to only a dozen Williams now
  19. I think you're right. Maybe he was expecting more congratulations/sympathy cards. I bet even Hallmark hasn't made those yet.
  20. A big part of Maybin's bitterness with the Bills seems to be that they didn't do something about his son that was still born. What exactly were they supposed to do? Isn't it a little awkward when in the same 24 hours, you also have a healthy daughter born. And, you yourself chose to be at the daughter's birth. You weren't at your son's birth, but you want the Bills to do "something" about it??
  21. PM me too, please. The way I read it Marv wasn't given any football responsibitities (his quote was something like sending letters to community groups). So, he probably just tuned out, since they weren't going to let him decide anything anyway.
  22. Haha - that's the problem!
  23. Just when I'm happy that those Rott etc. commercials are gone, they start playing a Tom Bauerle commercial. He is one of the weirdest humans alive and he reminds us of it when he says "does your current vacuum scare your kit - tays"
