Sign him, he's got more game than half this roster😜
-
Are you kidding me does everyone want more of the same next year
THIS!!!!!
-
That's like saying she's the least fat girl ive dated since Rosie O'Donnell.
There is a difference between chubby and fat and what is pleasing to the touch isn't always pleasing to the eye....
He had a team that was sloppy but was starting to learn to win.... something Williams, Jerkron, Gailey and Ryan have never had.
Coaches need to learn their craft too and I think he's coming along.
I would tAke him in a heartbeat over this buffoon we have
-
I still think he was the best coach we've had since Wade
-
It is exactly the same place we find ourselves every year.....no chance at all being paraded as a glimmer of hope.
-
I don't know what's worse, having a wife who actively roots for a hated rival, or my wife who is overly sympathetic to the point of almost mocking.
Having 1% chance of making the playoffs is preferable to where we've been in December most of the past two decades
-
Rex and Rob have taken this team to a new level of irrelevancy. Some one please tell Terry & Kim how embarrassing this is to them and the entire Bills Nation.
Nope, Gailey and Jerkron never hit 8-8.... just the same old mediocrity that too many on here talked themselves out of forbthe umteenth season in a row...... we even have the requisite " The Bills can still make the playoffs" thread going......
-
None, with Freddie Jackson being the only possibility........ the price that's paid for this much mediocrity with a smidgen of crappiness throw in here and there 😳
-
um, Kyle Williams
Also Aaron Schoebel
Sam Adams
Cordy Glenn
Eric Wood
Ritchie
Antoine Winfield
London Fletcher
Phil Hansen
Who?
Screw Mario, two years of great two yrs of lazy ass.
Greatest Athlete yes, Football player not even close.
we did have a 3rd ranked D but then they thought they should let Pat Williams go, oops!
Bledsoe second year we had a good D but he SUCKED.
Thread said best player, the only other consistently dominant ant player for at least a season was Teddy Washington.
Favorite player is a different thread
-
Honestly I'd take Orton over Bledsoe... At least while he was here.
?
-
Drew Bledsoe?
Seriously? He sucked.
He willed the 2002 team to 8-8. Greg ( Rex Ryan) Williams' vaunted D was putrid. He was the only QB we have had since Jimbo who I believed always had a shot to make a first and Or score no matter the down and distance. He smoked Kelly's 91 passing yardage record. So, yeah, I guess he was a joke..... what was I thinking🤔
-
Me me me me Me!!!!!!!!!!! N
-
Top would have to be Bledsoe in that first season, breaking Kelly's records. We were actually being picked as a SB contender the next season but then Hoodie worked his voodoo in the 3rd or 4th game and Bledsoe became somebody else over night.
-
Funny I was thinking this morning. What player is the leader of this team.. I can't think of one...
Ding, ding, ding!!! No more callers, we have a winner!!!!
The coach is supposed to lead and support natural leaders within the team.
Hate to bring it up but M. Williams was correct about Rex.
-
Yup. The spin job focused on getting fans engaged in the offseason (and buying 2017 season tickets) has already begun...
-
In this alternate time line, if they did land Prescott he'd be running the scout team and not active on Sundays right now. He wouldn't have gotten any play time and you'd still be saying that Whaley hadn't done anything to land a QB.
Hell, when he finally got his chance in Buffalo it could have easily gone very differently without the best OL in the league to help him out along with one of the best TE's to ever play the game. Prescott went into the very best situation a rookie could have gone into, the same can't be said if he landed in Buffalo. The situation a player lands in has a lot to do with how he performs.

Lary Felser
😂😂😂
-
interm only. Firing Rex now would give us a head start on a HC search
This!!!!
-
Every year Sully tells it like it is and every year the Bills prove him to be right.
He's the new Larry Feltzer. He was spot on most of the time too.
-
Kills me to this day that we blew Shwartzies D up up!!!
-
Mistake #1 - hiring Rex Ryan
Mistake #2 - letting Rex push Jim Schwarts out the door.
The offense was never gonna be great but a strong D was needed.
-
Whaley's Achilles heal is his ability to scout and draft QBs. He seems to draft big guys with strong arms that lack accuracy and have a low football IQ.
Meanwhile the emphasis in the league has been on accuracy, quick release, and the ability to read the field. The Bills had a chance to draft many of the up-and-coming young QBs in the league, but Whaley let them pass by. The vast majority of those guys are under 6'4".
You have to wonder if Whaley let them slip by because the didn't fit his view of a prototypical QB.
Man ain't that the truth😵🤔
-
While I agree on Lynn NOT being head coach, as I'm not sure he's even past mediocre as an OC, I'm still not sure about Whaley.
I get the distinct impression that a real coaching staff could have willed this talent to a better record the last two years.
What I dont like about Whaley is he is too busy as a GM. I don't recall a previous GM making roster move after roster move, in season.
If they kept him, it wouldn't kill me. If they let him go, who would they bring in.
-
Wow, a discussion with realistic Bills fans.
I picked 7-9.
I didn't get the Sunday ticket and was called a Troll for saying so in the Sunday Ticket thread.
A bunch of us said we wanted to see C. Jones in and we're castigated for not " understanding" football. Apparently Whaley doesn't either.
Rex was an obvious joke after one season and all the koolaid drinkers said we were being too impatient.
He ruined a potentially great defense in one year. This D is a joke as is the QB.
The Bills are a joke. Sad but true.
Cardale needs to finish the season, we need a coach who can actually coach.
