Daboll doesn’t use the short slant as part of his scheme. It’s driving me nuts. Give this kid a quick outlet that he sees. Foster seems like he would be perfect in that role or Murphy.

Just watched a video of his highlights. Florence killed our satellite reception and internet connection. We missed the TD at the end of both halves? He does look like he has considerable potential. Happy with what I saw from a rookie. He did have stupid Ints which is to be expected. He also is visibly not mentally processing/ over thinking . He needs to learn to trust himself and I think he will. He also needs to learn to step up into the pocket as a first step. It seemed he was moving laterally when he had space in front of him causing a couple sacks unnecessarily. Considering what a rag tag bunch of “ help” he has and crappy route designs Daboll seems to employ it was pretty impressive.

If we took Mahomes at 15 two years ago, we aren’t trading any other pick last year to move up. This would have allowed more picks to bolster the O line and Receivers. Hind sight , yes but still makes sense to me.

Point taken but still have a sneaking suspicion he might be the real deal with Good accuracy.

Maybe we pick up help in the first round this past year?

I was at that Steelers game. 2 buddies and I had seasons in the tunnel EZ. Some Steelers fans in front of us were yucking it up as Kelly was throwing picks (3 or 4?) at the beginning of the game. “ That’s another Steelers Interception!!!” My buddy Joe kept badgering them so bad with ,” That’s another Buffalo TD.” they left in the third quarter???. My favorite Kelly moment is him yelling at the reporters after beating the Saints. Telling them nobody but the players believed they were going to win the game. Watched that in my very first apartment. AMAZING ending.
