  1. Ryan's act grows old. its not for long term success.
  2. my GF is a Detroit Lions fan....filing this away for next time the Bills face Detroit
  3. best comment in the article: On the Bills, veterans haze the rookies by making them become Buffalo politicians. 2nd best He considered writing in Scott Norwood instead, but found his platform to be too far to the right
  4. 2.4% chance right now. if we win out, it goes to about 85% http://www.sportsclubstats.com/NFL/AFC/AFCEast/Buffalo.html
  5. excellent point, i did forget about the trade deadline passing. these types of things happen all the time in baseball, but football is different
  6. already plenty of speculation around twitter that flynn will end up in GB. too bad we released him, we could have gotten a little something for him.
  7. for the old timers on this board, this team is like the 86 and 87 Bills. they had a lot of pieces in place, then with a few more additions and the right coaching staff, went to 4 straight super bowls. the motto back then was "just wait to next year"...kind of a running joke. and it applies this year too. this team won't make the playoffs. but should be a force to be reckoned with next year. for now, enjoy watching them grow together. it won't always be pretty, and occasionally painful (KC...ugh). but they are learning how to compete, and that's what really matters.
  8. well i don't think they are going to cut him. but he won't be the starter if EJ is healthy. or Thad, if EJ can't go. Tuel is the 3rd option. But, he will be on the roster in some capacity.
  9. ok, i'm among the most optimistic fans. but even this cracks me up...put down the pipe!
  10. let's hope EJ has learned from sitting and watching.
  11. so "no punt" game was awesome! it is tough to be a Bills fan. but there is hope on the horizon.
  12. i'm thinking EJ will be back against pitt. he did start practicing last week.
  13. i'm not dismissing the problem. the NFLPA needs to drive this issue. clearly the NFL doesn't care. of course, you could argue that BOTH entities are making so much $ that they are doing their best to sweep it under the covers.
  14. yawn. the guy didn't play enough to even make a dent.
  15. i think Thad will play. but even then, KC is a good team that pressures the QB, and we've seen Thad wilt under the pressure.
  16. i don't think the drop-off has been that great, its been more about communication with his receivers. next year will be another story, expect improvement. that said, he's probably got 3-4 decent years left, then the decline will be much more evident
  17. if Lewis starts this week, we might have a 40% chance of winning the game. anyone else, and our chances go down significantly. i know people want to bag on KC. but they have a stout defense, an offense that doesn't make mistakes, and a seasoned coaching staff. they are undefeated for a reason. ask yourself this, if we played their schedule, would we be undefeated?
  18. i was waiting for someone to post that. every team has injuries, bad calls, etc. but the chiefs fought through it and are 7-0. So yes, they are that good. i do think the Bills have a chance, but this is far from a sure thing. could be low-scoring.
  19. ^^^ this. too many men will happen from time to time. but this scenario should never play out at the pro level
  20. mental illness is everywhere. including planes
  21. the one that coats is the only one you need

  22. for the first time in a long time, its nice that we aren't dismissing this game as a loss. yes, we might very well lose. but the talent level and coaching of this team is at the point where nothing should be assumed. its an old cliche....but...."any given sunday"
  23. fully agree. Wins (results) matter. not development of your first round pick.
