The media coverage of this incident is like Trayvon Martin on steroids. They used old pictures, ignored why Trayvon was even in Orlando and lied about why Zimmerman was following him, at least in that situation Zimmerman deserved some of the blame. In England they are canonizing evil. -
Your goal is to punish Russia, mine to get to peace. Also to label my concern "false" is very sad for you since clearly you are someone who does not reassess their beliefs when new info comes in. I am glad we helped them stem the Russians but to not have a plan to end this 2+ years later is an indictment of our leaders.

I was unaware that this call is binding. This whole situation is insane, she is the nominee without anyone actually voting for her.

Does anyone on the left underworlds have meaning? She is not formally the candidate, she will not be until the convention vote.

Grandpa Simpson is that you? One of my favorite Simpson bits sounds like you- We can’t bust heads like we used to—but we have our ways. One trick is to tell them stories that don’t go anywhere like the time I caught the ferry over to Shelbyville. I needed a new heel for my shoe, so I decided to go to Morganville which is what they called Shelbyville in those days. So, I tied an onion to my belt which was the style at the time. Now, to take the ferry cost a nickel. And in those days, nickels had pictures of bumblebees on ‘em. ‘Give me five bees for a quarter,’ you’d say. Now, where were we? Oh, yeah! The important thing was that I had an onion on my belt which was the style at the time. They didn’t have white onions because of the war. The only thing you could get was those big yellow ones.”

I meant June of 2022 is when we should have started discussing a peace treaty. It was clear at the time that there was not going to be any decisive win for the Ukraine. They have lost a huge amount of their able bodied men, I have seen estimates as high as 30% of those from 18-30. I have no issue with supplying them with weapons but unless we are going to start attacking into Russia we are limited in what effect it will have. We still have not heard what a win looks like from Zelensky or Biden, which means that there is not practical version.

Your rambling aside, you admit that Biden in 2021 did his own EOs to allow the greater border crossings then once he could not pass a "new" law he went and eliminated his prior EOs. Truly he was ignoring the laws on the book and simply not enforcing them, why would the Republicans believe he would enforce the new ones? As for the Ukraine I hope they come to peace with Russia before they destroy the country permanently. Standing up to Putin was the right thing to do in February of 2022 but since June of 2022 all that has happened is lots of dead men with no viable way to win back all the land that was lost. A peace treaty is the way to go but now when Ukraine can still make a real threat of damaging Russia, soon they will have no men to fight.

We know that some of that money is illegitimate, but the question is how much? Is it 3% or 70%?

Are you trying to make a point? That 1972 was different than 2012? Life has changed, when I was a kid we had local sponsors, no one in FL does, and we do produce lots of MLB players. I don't believe many up north use local sponsors anymore either, due to the fear of "Chicos Bail Bonds" making a return. We also have to deal with insurance regulations and equipment maintenance, basically that version of LL is mainly gone.

So how about we act like adults and simply ask for ID at the ballot box? Then Trump has to STFU about fraud.

Harris/Biden can be summed up in one factual statement- they are proud of spending 8 Billion in order to gain an additional 1 billion. I had a friend who stated often the large company we worked for "spent a nickel to save a dime" with great intention. This government spends a quarter to earn a nickel.

In first reading I was going to attack more strongly but I know things many do not about government funding, even of simple things like youth sport leagues. The federal government has requirements about how to get money for your league, such as my sons little league, in about 2012 had to spend more money on the softball league, or get more girls to play baseball, with no chance at federal grant money if they did not show growth. The amount of money was over 10k for a town that was not rich at the time and the league total coffers was less than $40k per season. To ignore that money would mean a 25% increase in costs to all parents, and not enough parents would even realize why unless their child got hurt.

You beat me to it, history does not repeat itself but it often rhymes. The double items I see right now as shaky is the commercial real estate and the money currently pumping AI without any way to monetize it fully.
