Why isn't Bass the backup punter?
Orlando Buffalo replied to Dan Darragh's topic in The Stadium Wall
If true we could pull a Randall Cunningham play - I don't remember the distance but he got it over the deep man's head and it rolled a long way -
Bills @ Carolina Preseason Game Thread (kickoff now @ 7:36pm)
Orlando Buffalo replied to Simon's topic in The Stadium Wall
Since Barkley is doing so well with the punting, is there a good reason we could not just leave him as punter? Haack was poor last year but he was not why we lost any of the games we lost, why not just use another position player as a punter? Before you all rip me I have put three minutes of thought into itm -
Matt Araiza accused of rape, served with a lawsuit.
Orlando Buffalo replied to bill8164's topic in Off the Wall
His being on all these news shows is not a good look to me. I have stated we should not rush to judgement but it seems desperate to me. I think Bills will probably cut him simply for not telling them before they drafted him unless he can convince them of his innocence. -

If they can confirm or not confirm the phone call that would go a long way to determining if this is a money grab. The worst part for Araiza, if he is innocent, is that all these accusations are now public and almost any response will be reactive. If Araiza is innocent he should push the DA to release the phone call, if it happened. But in a few days you are correct, not much will likely come out -

I had not thought of the fact that the Bills could cut him for the fact that he did not reveal the lawsuit possibly coming, which could be argued is a major deal, whether he is innocent or guilty. If they can not do enough to "prove" his innocence in the next few days I bet they cut him and bring someone else in. -

I am hoping that some evidence is presented that backs up the accusation, if it is true. I don't believe the SDPD just sat on the case due to the fact that he was a football player but whatever investigation has been done I would like to see the evidence. I highly doubt he sees any criminal liability, but if he is guilty I hope he does not play for us, and if he is innocent I hope this dies quickly. I don't know what evidence the police can share with the public because it is a very serious accusation. -
Liberalism at its finest, we caused the problem by ensuring that everyone can get a loan whether they can pay it back or not, then tell them their bad decisions should not hurt them. I tell my kids every year that college is an investment, too many kids see it a way to party only

Not really Covid related but just the absurdity of the current medicine environment. My son is gonna be 18 in 6 months and was feeling poorly so he went to our local centra care( quick doctor place) and went though entire process until they were about to do Covid test and finally looked at his date of birth and determined he could not decide to do test himself. I had to take him in to office, where they literally just asked if I was his father, I did not show ID or anything. He unfortunately has Covid and doctor said she refuses to prescribe paxlovid (sp?) Since there is not any good data on its impact on young people and it's overall effectiveness is questionable.

I find the certainty of some members of this board hilarious. Most of the dirt against Trump is being published by the NYT or WP both of whom have lied multiple times about Trump, so they have no credibility. Trump himself has done nothing that shows he is innocent, he seems happy just antagonizing the FBI. And Merrick Garland just seems incompetent in a very wishy washy way.

2022 Tremaine Edmunds Prediction & Watch Thread
Orlando Buffalo replied to elijah's topic in The Stadium Wall
A few things: this is a thread on Tremaine and you were responding to my comments about Tremaine, so that is why I thought you were discussing Tremaine. You literally call him terrible and average in same sentence, and PUP is 4 weeks at this point not 3 months. -
Do "we" the buffalo community put to much pressure on Josh?

Sometimes I refer to him as my Lord and Savior- so I might expect a little too much from him but just by a smidge -
The Party of Cowards and Hypocrites

Dude Billzy is the obsessed with Trump, literatally if he did a rohrschach test every pic would be Trump. -
My opinion would be just these two who have more value to others than us Crowder- he is a proven commodity and we have Lil dirty and Shakir along with Cook if need be. Lawson- good backup but we have several guys who are better at same thing. I do not think our backup LB or DBs are special and we might need them anyways. And RBs are a dime a dozen in the NFL except for a few special ones.

OT: Belichick says that Mac's improvement is "dramatic"
Orlando Buffalo replied to Success's topic in The Stadium Wall
Payton and Brees in a dome is a made for record breaking combination and good for the both of them for accomplishing what they did. I stated from the get go that "System QB" is not an insult but you choose to use it as one. Brees, like Kurt Warner, are both guys who flourished in controlled environments more than outside stadiums, and he had a coach who knew how to use him. The only three QBs currently in league that are good and not system QBs IMO, and Rodgers, Mahomes, and Josh. They could run any system, and as long as the talent is around them they will flourish. Most other QBs need a system that uses their special talents. I know to some it seems obvious but the Bills brass for years did not build teams to benefit our QBs -

Not sure how that is arguing against my take that the Dolphins did not want him, or my comment that he improved his yards by 30% when he got to NO. Duante was also coming off an injury if I remember correctly. -

I did not read entire article, where does it argue against me? -
2022 Tremaine Edmunds Prediction & Watch Thread
Orlando Buffalo replied to elijah's topic in The Stadium Wall
Not sure how to argue with someone who does not realize the responsibility of LB in a 4-2 defense are the same as a 3-4 LB. Pointing out that the entire defense had a bad game against KC is not a good valuation for Edmunds, but blaming him for the last 13 seconds is perfect for you, Mahomes did not throw near him and he was right where he was told to be, but you blame him. As for the rest of your screed, Tre is not 3 months from being on the field and if we struggle week one, which I expect, it will be because the Rams are really good and just won the SB. -

Did you read the article? From your article: "leaders of the Dolphins at the time, including legendary college football coach Nick Saban, passed on Brees. They, instead, decided to go with Daunte Culpepper." Which is exactly what I said- if you recognized Brees potential good for you but most did not and he was not an playing like an all time great yet. -

Brees was replaced in SD because he was considered not good enough by the brass there, Brees is first ballot hall of famer in NO. He was literally 30% better statistically in NO per year than in SD, NO built the team around him to their benefit but comparing Brees in both places is crazy because I remember Brees wanted to go to the Dolphins and Miami chose Duante Culpeper. -
2022 Tremaine Edmunds Prediction & Watch Thread
Orlando Buffalo replied to elijah's topic in The Stadium Wall
So your point in the Edmunds thread is that the other LBs played poorly in the game Edmunds missed? Odd point, but truly Edmunds and Milano are asked to play a very different LB position than 25 years ago therefore he is hard to grade without knowing his assignment. Lastly usually the league high tacklers are on the bad defenses because they get a lot more chances to make tackles so to me being the #1 tackler on the best defense when the other teams only have 289 plays is more impressive vs the guys who faced 450 or 500 snaps. -

Tremaine was injured in the Indy game, so your point is that he is very impactful because you notice his loss. Tremaine is asked to be a different LB so we can run a base nickel, you thinking the leading tackler on the number 1 ranked defense is not good is crazy.
