A recurring theme for the Bills this decade has been blowing up things that either were fine or could just use some improvement, added depth and/or competition. The #3 ranked 3-4 defense was not good enough for G. Williams, so he blew that up for the 4-6. Pat Williams and the linebackers "were on the decline," so let them go. Henry is not good enough -> McGahee wants too much money. Bledsoe stinks. Let's cut him and give the job to Losman rather than just have an open competition. The offensive line could use some improvement in the interior, so let's trade a pro bowl tackle and cut two others and replace them with people who have never played an NFL snap.

Lindell's expression was more like "are you kidding me" to me.

The British show was good and I think Ricky Gervais is better than Steve Carrell, but I enjoy the American version more now now that the American version has found its own voice.

This is just another example of why WR should be low on the list of priorities. Fix the OL and the QB and journeyman WRs suddenly are good.

This revenue sharing was only new to the last labor deal and only required because of a salary cap taking account such revenues. The TV deals is what really led to revenue sharing and unless these deals become regional, which ain't going to happen, this isn't necessarily a death knell for this franchise in Buffalo.

I have my doubts that this is correct. The story had been that Ralph pushed for Dwayne Wright, not Lynch. I think this person may have misremembered the stories that came out during that draft. While Wright stunk, the draft talking heads were praising the pick as a value one on ESPN.

Agreed. I can have love him some times, but too often he acts like a frustrated baby out there. To be fair, though, I did not like the body language of Josh Reed on one of those last three and outs.

Over the past few years and despite the Bills general suckiness, the Bills have been able to come back in the 4th Quarter. Edwards and Losman often at least could drive the team down the field. Losman had that game in Houston and against Jacksonville. Edwards had that game against the Redskins and Raiders amongst others. I am struck by how this team is completely incapable of coming back on those final drives even when there's a lot of time on the clock. It's always sack, sack, sack, interception. It's not like we had world beaters at QB before. Obviously defenses can just tee up the pass rush on this inept offensive line, but how much of it is the play calling?

What is impressive is how excited I got after 1 win in three games.
