  1. I mean we should. Yes it doesn’t mean much for seeding and such, but this is exposing a lot of this team’s deficiencies. I’m not saying they suck and there’s no chance of a Super Bowl, but it’s a big time reality check for how they match up vs good teams. I hope they learn.
  2. LET'S GOOOOOO! Awesome to have the legend back on the team. I trust that McD and Babich know what they are doing. I doubt they'll thrust him into a starting role any time soon, but I can't see how this is anything but a good thing for the team!
  3. I’ve been impressed with a lot of his game and personnel management over the course of this winning streak. But that came on the heels of some familiar game management blunders early in the season. It’s disappointing to see that those things still happen with him in year 8. I hope he’s figuring it all out and can put it together for a Super Bowl run. As everyone has said, the playoffs are the test that matters.
  4. Dang… popped open that live feed by the stadium this morning and impressed to se Abbott road completely clear and the parking lot already plowed! Thanks to all the hardworking people getting the place ready for game day.
  5. Latest from WROC looks promising for less snow in OP. There’s still a lot of uncertainty for where the north edge of the lake effect band will ultimately land though. We’ll know more on Saturday.
  6. 19-31, second worst in NL before a best in MLB second half of the season. It really was incredible… greatest postseason run of all time for my money. So many moments. It was Gerardo Parra’s song. Brought an infectious energy and the baby shark song. It all started to turn around when they started playing that damn song lol. Here’s a good clip on it They even put a shark on the inside of the ring.
  7. Nats started playing Baby Shark in 2019 (walk up song for a player who picked it for his daughter) and it became a phenomenon. Whole ballpark went nuts for it every time. Rode it all the way to a World Series victory. Doesn’t matter what the song is… if it becomes the thing, you ride that dragon if it’s tied to a winning streak.
  8. Yep. It's not my favorite song, but now it's the Bills' song so... I'm all in. Get with the program, learn the lyrics, and sing your lungs out whenever they play it at the game. The team loves it (the song and the energy from the crowd when it plays), so just do it.
  9. Obviously we'd want all 3. I feel like with the cap situation, Beane could find a way to make it work while still leaving space for other important assets. TB is the priority for me of all of them... I feel like he's so critical for this defense. Shakir should be able to be get done on a comparatively cheaper deal than the high end outside WRs in the league, so that should work. Benford is the toughest. He's going to command a huge deal. I know shutdown corners are important, but I'm just not sure if it will be the best move for this team to put a ton of money there. Obviously you'd love to have him, but it depends on how it fits with the cap. I feel like they can draft and develop serviceable DBs and may want to invest the big $ in other areas. I'll trust whatever Beane chooses to do though. He's a wizard.
  10. Regardless of how this game turns out, yet another stinker from the coaches. Bad game plan on both sides of the ball and failure to adjust. These starts will kill the Bills vs the playoff teams. Already seen it twice vs Houston and Baltimore
  11. I cannot get over those two fake holds. Dawkins uses perfect hand technique to throw chop off balance and cause him to fall on his own. torrence plays it perfect and keeps hands inside. Doesn’t grab defender at all as he tries to get off the block. Defender shows no effort and was never going to come close to josh running by. You throw TWO phantom holds in a row to take an incredible TD off the board? That is next level horse *****.
  12. Are you freaking kidding me with these refs? NEITHER were holds
  13. Slow and sloppy. No urgency. Another game where team wasn’t prepared from the jump.
  14. Yet another game where both sides of the ball come out slow and outcoached.
  15. This. Allen is a top 2 QB. Look, McD is a good to very good defensive coordinator for the most part. He has consistently schemed up a good defensive plan that works most of the time, except in the most critical, high pressure situations like end of game and especially in the playoffs. We could do worse for a head coach for sure, but it’s his tendency to crumble in the biggest moments that does it for me. I hope this year turns out different come playoff time of course, but there is a laundry list history of in game coaching failures that we have to look back on when games are close at the end vs good teams. This team should have at least been to a Super Bowl already with JA as QB or at the very least made another AFC championship game. I really hope they can overcome it this year and get over the hump.
  16. Good call. I voted Benford but it is absolutely TB when he is on the field.
  17. This is a wild comparison. Shady was one of one the way he ran and carried the ball. I can’t think of another back to compare to his crazy, shifty, amazing style. Maybe Barry Sanders? I’m not saying shady was at Barry’s level at all, just maybe that they both had very unique foot and upper body work they could muster to make guys miss. Ray Davis would be the last one I would compare. He makes one cut and hits the hole so fast and hard, looking to run right through first and second contact. Dude is a tank. Shady was a ninja.
  18. Need to get him the ball somehow to get him going. Maybe a fake punt.
  19. Not gunna happen unfortunately. I think the only way he gets canned is if they miss the playoffs entirely. Pegula is a space cadet. He has no idea what’s going on.
  20. Interesting that he said definitively that Cooper will play Sunday when McD is still trying to play coy about whether or not he gets in the game.
  21. It was quite spectacular how bad he was last night and has been all year. I mean he’s an incredible story and a great guy, but enough is enough. He is just out of place in a starting NFL defense. There has to be a better option than someone who is just out of position constantly and never a threat to make a play.
  22. Not only that, but they went into immediate prevent on the two plays before that allowed them to get in range for it. Then McD called one of his patented defensive timeouts that actually helps the offense. Gave them time to coordinate for the shot. Then he rushed two. It really was the full Sean McDermott end of half experience there. Push all the wrong buttons at exactly the same time, play after play, decision after decision.
  23. Oh it will for sure be “the refs did it”. And yeah they sucked, but when there is this much colossal f up from top to bottom, it’s the coaching guys. The team is just poorly coached. That’s all there is to it. They don’t execute, they take careless penalties, they have a bad pass game scheme, and we don’t even need to get into the egregious game management from McD. The guy has no control of this team and craps his pants in big moments.
