  1. No. Everything about this career as a HC says mediocrity. Quite a few guys can be decent OCs or DCs - Mularkey, Williams hello.
  2. True. And Buddy never really stated, "experience.. in winning." oh crap
  3. Holy crap, does this thing really have legs?!? Seriously. Seriously. Nevergiveup... if you have any sources, inside angle, anything. Kidnap them, do what ever you have to to try and put an end to this. Please. I've been optimistic about this whole thing. Didn't mind the idea of Frazier or Grimm at all. Seems likes lots of potential upside. But Chan Gailey? Seriously, there is nothing, absolutely nothing to be excited about him as a hire. OC, maybe. HC... . Thanks. my day is friggin ruined
  4. Trust me on this one... whomever the Bills hire will be exactly the guy they wanted, too.
  5. You better be friggin wrong!
  6. Excellent post and nice to know there's a few others that can think rationally. However, I must disagree with the bolded part. People want Billick or Fassel hired, preferably quickly, so they can continue to and complain that the Bills didn't even try to hire a good coach. That they went out and hired some tired retread. Regarding the HC search, go back to December and early Jan. and read the posts, and you'll see dozens upon dozens of posters crying that all they want is a thorough search - don't interview one guy and hire him; look at up and comers; go after the big names. Well, now that the Bills are doing that, you see these same people complaining. Why? Because it's taking too long, no one likes us, we're a joke. What did people expect? Cowher, Shanny, and every coach out there to get in a reverse bidding war just for the privilege of being here? When you go after the best candidates, they have other options. So you don't get them all, especially when you're not one of the premier franchises in the league. I guess that's just a little too much for people's frail little insecurities to take.
  7. And Marty's at the top of half the poster's list for who they want as HC.
  8. Too bad the Jets didn't listen to you last year when they hired that bum of a DC that was just lucky to have great players. That's what I thought. I was under the impression that they can't even talk to him at this point until the Vikes are done. ??
  9. Excellent point.
  10. game over. Question now... will the Colts regret letting the Jets stay alive back in week 16?
  11. I'd go for it too. Take the clo.... there ya go.
  12. That's kinda what I was thinking. With all those missed FGs... go for the TD. Fortunate for Norv it didn't come to that.
  13. That's my next question. I say. yes.
  14. If they don't' convert. Do you kick the FG here?
  15. In all fairness, 1 of those was a 57 yarder to end the half. Still, he's given away a relatively easy 6 points in a 10point game.
  16. This game just got away from SD. So now we have to listen to that Ryan for another week!
  17. It's amazing how average players can leave Buffalo and be pretty good. But, all the players curently in Buffalo suck and we need to rebuild the the majority of our roster.
  18. Just asked about that in the game thread. What's up with that?
  19. They announce the PPK winners the one kid is from Buffalo wearing an Eagles jersey? WTF?
  20. Where the heck is Reevis? Are the Jets just letting Jackson run free or are the Chargers just doing a great job of moving him around?
  21. Talk to a bunch of coaches that were just fired from their job and I'm sure they'll have nothing but glowing things to say about the franchise. I just love how the words of former, disgruntled employees carries more wieght than people still working for the team.
  22. I think we're just in full on "make crap up" mode now. Either that or there have been alot of children left behind.
  23. Frazier's defefnse is certainly looking better than Grimm's offensive line. Does Frazier look good because he has 3 all pros or are they all pros because they have Frazier? The age old question.
  24. Exactly, and I'd give him one. Maybe 5 years? expecting he'll never see the last few years of the deal. But, a "McNabb" immediately ends all the Qb problem here. It allows us to concentrate on the line and other areas of concern. All the while you get a young , promising QB, whether it be Brohm or a draft pick, and give him a couple years of grooming with no pressure to take over. This is esstentially what the Packers did, the Cowboys did, the Dolphins did, the Cardinals are attempting. And, IMO, allows for a much better chance of near and future success than drafting a guy and hoping to get lucky, ala the Steelers, Raven, Falcons.
  25. Thanks. Most of the times, even I just dismiss it as idiocy all too often just read over it. But, it's just been getting more and more difficult in recent weeks.
