My guess, at this point, the Bills are either ready to hire Frazier as soon he's done in the playoffs. He was talked about being the top candidate for a while. Maybe there's another playoff team's assistant, but other than Grimm, there have been no rumors.

And you pass on a job being offered, that would pay quite well for a job that may not even open up for several years, if then? Who's to say Coughlin isn't there coaching for another 5 years. Then Cowher looks back and rather than doing something he loves, he's been biding his time.

I'm pretty sure you have to read between the lines and infer something negative about Buffalo and/or the Bills. No one ever just says something.

I would imagine Conan's ratings are going up as we speak. Heck, I even watched last night justto see what the fuss was about. Glad I did, actually. It was hilarious. He basically gave NBC and big FU all night. While all but admitting that he was drunk and just didn't care anymore. It was pretty good. I'll watch again tonight.

I would LOVE to switch everyone in my company to Macs. I use Macs for all my personal use (and some business) and love them. By far the most stylish, stable, and durable computers I've used. But, to switch 30+ computers to Mac would be a chore and cost of epic proportions. I've thought about doing 1 or 2 a year, but then you've got a mess of half with ones set of problems and half with the other. It's bad enough there's 3 or 4 versions of Windows out there (XP, Vista, 7, 64bit Vista/7). I'd really cause headaches adding Mac OS to the mix. Yeah, when I found that online coupon, it pretty well sealed the deal. I'm kinda anxious to see it. I've never played with a Lenovo, so we'l lsee how it goes. I can only guess the deal as good til 1/18 or while supplies lasted? Oh well.

I was going to suggest making a custom page yourself. It's been years since I did that, though. A friend told me about NetVibes a little while ago. I just did a very quick look at it and it seems to have all your requirements. Pageflakes.com is another one to look at that's just something different than the mainstream.

IMO, Billick would be the perfect hire. Now hear me out... see, right now the Nix is an idiot for not interviewing him. If he were to hire him, he could then be called an idiot because he hired a washed up retread that none of the other teams that needed a HC even interviewed. Because as we all know, no matter what the Bills do - it's the wrong move.

Technically speaking, I think they're giving up on the team because they interviewed a guy that may be coach. That's how bad it's gotten. We can tell just by who they're talking to in January that next Sept. we'll be the worse team in the league.

Agreed. All indications are that money is not an issue in this coaching search. My best guess as to why there's been no interest in Billick is that Nix (a) just doesn't like him or (b) wants to build the team differently from what Billick wants. If I remember correctly, Nix said something about wanting to work closely with the HC and have the same philosohy on the direction of the team. IMO, that's a great approach. To just dismiss Billick right off the bat, almost has to be something along that line.
