  1. How about they just cut Peterman? Why leave the possibility that he plays? He isn’t capable of playing in this league. You can literally sign any guy that played QB in this league and he will be an upgrade.
  2. I made one bet yesterday. Bills - Colts Unser 44. I thought that it was easy money the whole game. That ended quite scary.
  3. That’s when that conversation was. The conversation in October of 2017 was a much different conversation knowing that Josh Allen was our target. I said a zillion times that I thought he needed to sit the year before we drafted him. When the options were Allen, McCarron, and Peterman it was different. If they were taking Baker or Rosen (2 guys that I thought were day one starters) than I would have been cool with that QB room. Now Rosen may not even be good but I thought he was day 1 ready. Teddy would have been a solid option if they were drafting a guy that should have red shirted (like Mahomes did).
  4. Yeah, they shouldn’t have signed him in October of 2017. If their plan was Allen, they needed a guy that could play this year. It could have been McCarron I suppose but he wasn’t near the top of the list. I’m not a Cutler fan but he’s way better than what we are doing. 2019 will be Allen and 2 guys not currently here. They need to do better with those 2 guys.
  5. We should have signed Teddy. That ship has sailed though. Allen is the QB through next year. As a competent vet in the offseason and maybe even draft a guy late. A QB room of Allen, Fitz and Shea Patterson (or something like that) would be an improvement.
  6. And I am in agreement with that. I said that they did the right thing. They should have had a guy here though if they were going to take such a raw prospect. Taking that pick and cap relief for Tyrod was the right decision. At the same time, the offense would have been a lot better with him. Either way though, this team wasn’t a contender which is why I agreed with them.
  7. You are wrong. You’ve always hated him. His okay level of play is WAY better than we’ve gotten. Our QBs have 3 TDs and 12 INTs. That wouldn’t be the case with Tyrod.
  8. Good question and good answer
  9. I’m fine with rebuilding but who are the players on offense that are a part of the future? Allen and Dawkins are. Maybe Zay is a 3rd receiver. That’s my issue. If they were a collection of young, talented guys I’d be fine. They aren’t. You don’t rebuild needing as many guys as the Bills need on offense. They have left little margin for error on FA and the draft. The Bills need to be right about virtually all of their additions.
  10. You are overlooking a very important part of the discussion, Bills QBs have thrown for 3 TDs and 12 INTs. That’s how you lose. We wouldn’t have won shootouts but could have consistently scored 20 points a week. Passing yards are irrelevant, points matter. Turnovers matter. We’d be (at least) 3-4 with a win last week (we also win that game if Allen doesn’t go out). Again, though you got rid of Tyrod because you don’t care to be between 7-9 and 9-7. We all needed to accept that. The Bills did what they thought that they needed to in order to become an 11-5 team in the next couple of years. We will see how it plays out.
  11. Oh, my bad!! Yeah, they wouldn’t have been good. The OL is worse. I’m of the belief that Daboll is better than Rico (although that’s not an endorsement). The offense would have looked a lot like last year (which is why I was fine moving on). We would be 3-4 now with Tyrod. The game or two at the end of the year wasn’t worth it.
  12. Passing yards are irrelevant. 3rd down conversions, yards per attempt, Red zone percentage and TD:INT tell the real story.
  13. While I agree with your general premise a lot of the “dead cap space” is their fault. They dealt guys that they shouldn’t have dealt and cut guys that they shouldn’t have cut. They wanted to clear the cap. They also wanted “their guys.” The dead cap money is a combination of good roster building and complete arrogance. Anytime a new regime starts and “knows better” than the last one it ends poorly. You need to come in and evaluate without bias. These guys didn’t do that.
  14. The offense would have been better with Tyrod than anyone that we have played. I don’t have any doubt about that. He doesn’t make mistakes. I was fine moving on but to act like he is the same type of QB as Anderson or Peterman is ludicrous. Tyrod is a top 30ish qb that doesn’t turn it over. Those other 2 aren’t top 100 QBs. The Bills would have 1 more win (last week) with that level of play.
  15. Massive upgrade!! We wanted a QB that would “throw it when guys weren’t open.” How is that working out? Tyrod covered the flaws of this offense he didn’t make them worse. He made plays with his legs and took care of the football. When your offense has no talent you need to do those things. I was of the belief (and still am) that it was time to move on. With that being said if you were going to draft the raw prospect you should have had a plan in place. Tyrod is 1,000 times better than these scrubs (not including Allen here). He wasn’t the reason the offense sucked. He was a part of the reason that they were bad instead of “complete dumpster fire.” The grass isn’t always greener...
  16. You ever see Peterman play?
  17. Yeah, you might want to title it, “Terrible thread that you don’t want to open”
  18. ...yet he would be a MASSIVE upgrade on our team. He was never the problem; he just wasn’t the solution. Anyone that thought otherwise has been humbled (and corrected) this season.
  19. Heard that earlier but thought it was Brees?
  20. The answer is easy. It is Anderson until Allen is back. Peterman is actually the worst QB to ever play. He should be cut this week and another guy brought in.
  21. I honestly believe that they are going to be the 2nd best team in the west. They are scoring 140 points a night!! It won’t keep up at that pace but they are the Steve Nash Suns. Since Boogie’s injury last year they are the highest scoring team in the league. They added Randle, Payton and have a whole season of Mirotic. Additionally, they have room to add a max player (or can) next offseason. Davis is also eligible for the super-max. I put the chances of him leaving in the next 5 years at like 10% max. That narrative has been blown out of proportion by Paul Pierce and the ESPN goon-squad. I’m still close with a lot of people over there and they all laugh at the notion that he is going anywhere. It’s just noise (sorry to disappoint any of you Celtics fans @YoloinOhio).
  22. Yep!! On top of it, that’s his primary job!! It’s not like he’s a blocking back that they throw to once and a while. He’s an atrocious football player.
  23. Speaking of 60 win teams...
