  1. Ravens D is making the Pats look pretty average...........so far. But its early. God I hate the Patriots ! LOL !
  2. Steve was quoting Celib Talib (sp?) of the Patriots secondary on that one. Edit: and yes....its one of the elite arms in the NFL IMO. jb
  3. Sorry Phil Simms. Just switched over to the radio call.
  4. Didn't see one so I figgered I'd start one. Hope its as good as the early game. Mods...kill it if I missed one already. Thanx. jb ps....GO RAVENS !!
  5. Haven't watched enough of Atlanta football so I can't comment on that.. I'll take your word for it though. Thanks. jb
  6. True...you can make contact within 5 yards, but you cant (practically) tackle an intended receiver while the ball is en route. S'all good bro. Don't like the outcome, but by golly that was one helluva football game right there. jb
  7. OMG. Atlanta got jobbed on that 4th down. Receiver got mugged......and they didnt call it. Its a damn shame either team has to lose a game like this. One of the best games I've seen in quite a while.
  8. Definitely blew that call. Routin fer the birds but......that was clearly incomplete.
  9. Dayum. I guess so !
  10. Donte is on the wrong end of a 55 gallon drum ass-whippin. He's gettin schooled. BUT....turnovers may well be the deciding factor here. Just a great game. If you dont like this game, you can't refer to yourself as a fan of American Football. This is GREAT. jb
  11. And the field goal is.........DOINK !! NO GOOD !!
  12. This is a heavy weight bout. One of the best games I've watched all season. One of those games where its a shame there has to be a loser. So far anyway................... jb
  13. Smart. Damn entertaining game so far.
  14. These guys are experts on what happened 5 minutes ago. But...Julio has come up big in this playoff run by the birds. I like the kid. Ryan is showing me something as well. Atlanta's sell job is starting to take hold with me. I accused them of being a fraud all season long. Crow. jb
  15. This game right here is living up to the hype. I suspect you won't see Alex. Unless Collin gets hurt. Hope he doesn't, even though I'm routin fer the Birds. jb
  16. 993. You are a good man, Hammer. Hope to buy you a beer one day. Many thanks. jb
  17. With our luck he'll go to New England and turn into the next Brady. LOL !!
  18. If Fitz were to restructure I'd rather keep him rather than TJ. I think he'd be a decent mentor for a young QB. If he doesn't restructure I reckon he'll be out of Buffalo. But we'll see. jb
  19. Bad timing. Could be a distraction for the niners. http://www.mercuryne...-crabtree-being SAN FRANCISCO -- San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Michael Crabtree is being investigated in connection with a sexual assault, San Francisco police said Friday. Crabtree was questioned in connection with the alleged incident, reported to have occurred in the early morning hours Sunday in an unnamed San Francisco hotel, police said in a news release. Crabtree caught two touchdown passes in the 49ers' playoff victory over the Green Bay Packers on Saturday night. Police said Crabtree has been interviewed with his lawyer present and has cooperated in the investigation. Crabtree has not been detained or arrested and has agreed to make himself available to investigators in the future, police said. ............................................... jb
  20. +1. No room for bandwagon fans on this ship.
  21. Its a total crap shoot. I'll rout for whoever they pick, or acquire. jb
  22. Agree. Except for one thing. Seems Fitz used to throw long pretty darn well. Anyone remember the Stevie drop in the end zone against the Steelers a couple years back? That was a helluva throw to win the game. Stevie dropped it. Not sure what the hell happened to Fitz. He had a reasonably good long ball a few years back, and he got rid of the ball QUICK. Yea, I'm also wondering if he's suffered from paralysis by analysis. Over-coached ? Just let the kid play. I hope he re-structures. I'd like to see him stick around, perhaps as a # 2. He could also be a decent mentor for a young QB, and a decent back-up. Guys got a lot of experience. Likely a better QB today than anyone the Bills will draft, if they even decide to draft a QB. jb
