  1. I would expect this to go similarly to any other private property sale. If you have multiple bidders for a house on the market, a bidding war can ensue and the sale price can exceed the asking price. I suspect the Bills sale might play out relatively the same way.
  2. Reporter: "How do you plan on paying for the Bills?" Pegula: "Straight cash, homie."
  3. Can't believe they didn't choose Cellino & Barnes as legal counsel
  4. Guess this means the period of mourning for Ralph has officially passed in NFL circles. Jerry might be the first to express this but he probably won't be the last. It will be interesting to see if Kraft (slowly) begins to walk back his comments about the Bills remaining in Buffalo.
  5. Just think, every section would have a "Batavia Party Zone" sign
  6. For those saying 83, Watkins is already on record that he would prefer a number in the teens
  7. Things such as corporate tax credits/incentives are of far, far greater importance to an employer than the location of the nearest National Football League team.
  8. Cam Neely (President of the Boston Bruins) was on 98.5 The Sports Hub in Boston within the past hour. Neely said he has spoken to Jeremy Jacobs and that Jeremy has no interest in selling the Boston Bruins and has no interest in purchasing the Buffalo Bills. Statements came roughly between 4:25 to 4:35 PM EDT in interview on "Felger and Mazz" radio show Better yet, here's a link: http://boston.cbslocal.com/2014/04/10/cam-neely-jeremy-jacobs-wont-pursue-purchasing-bills-if-it-means-giving-up-bruins-ownership/
  9. But could be potentially bad for the product on the field short-term. After plunking down $1B (give or take) the new owner is going to make sure they have their own choice for president / CEO , who will choose their GM, who will choose their head coach etc. So Russ, Doug, and Doug could all be out by the end of 2014. That may be good or bad depending on your perspective, but it would certainly start the rebuilding process again. Of course the other way to look at it is all of the front office moves we have seen have been done in anticipation and/or with the blessing of a specific ownership group already.
  10. Thank you, Mr. Wilson, and may you rest in peace.
  11. As Jeffersons go, I had Willie ranked behind Thomas and George, but ahead of Lionel
  12. JW's response to Ed is worth including too - John Wawrow ‏@john_wawrow 11m @Edwerderespn uhh, who reported $30 million guaranteed, or the fact Byrd turned it down.
  13. I was surprised Marino had survived this long at CBS after that became public. I definitely don't see another network putting him on.
