...and I still think if he is a dumba$$ that he can't stay in shape on his own during the off-season, I don't want him on the Bills.
-
I'd keep Leonhard over Wire. He certainly has more upside than Mr. Pile On.
-
The only thing I'll ever remember about this guy is that he had a world class mullet when he was younger. Did you see the video clip of him singing and playing the guitar.
-
Thoughts?? By adding Rogers, we would just be adding another guy(except for Evans), who have never accomplished anything or are several years away from having done something.
Thanks but no thanks.

I have merged another of your WM posts into your official "I don't make any sense about WM" thread. Consider it your own playspace and try not to stray into other threads.

Tommy: Hey Mom, can I sleep over at Jimmy's house tonight? All my friends are going to be there!
Mom: Of course you can Tommy. Just make sure to wear your Armor of God PJ's. That way I know you'll be safe.

The other scary thing is...Alexander has been playing lights out to get the big contract and now that he has it...

So I should dismiss WM's disappointing 2005 season as a fluke and combined with the fact that the Bills OL has all the makings of still being below average with almost no quality depth, believe that he is going to turn it around in a big way?
I agree that you can't draft solely on what a player did in the previous season, but their is plenty of information(stats from previous year) that can be valuable and should not be ignored.

1450+ yards and 12 TD's each of the last two seasons for Rudi. I don't care if he comes out on every 3rd down, those are awesome fantasy numbers.
-
If he can't make it in the Mike Martz pass happy offense in Detroit, he better hope he banked a lot of that signing bonus a few years ago, because his NFL career is quickly coming to an end.
-
All things considered equal and if they were both UFA's, I'd take Porter in a heartbeat over Price. Talent aside, Porter is looking to break the bank and he's had some injury problems in the past.
-
Ashley Lelie is Peerless Price all over again for the Falcons. He won't do jack for that team. He clearly doesn't have the route running skills of a #1 WR. He also developes aligator arms when going over the middle to catch a pass. He's fast and can beat a zone deep from time to time, but that's it. And it's not a garauntee that Vick can throw the ball accurately enough to hit him in stride 50 yards down the field. But they did need a receiver
Actually, Lelie is nowhere near the acommplished WR that Price was when he hit Atlanta. If Price couldn't help that passing game, I don't know how they feel Lelie is going to be the answer.

Personally I always try to take RBs who are the focal point of their offense. Rudy, Dominic & Westbrook all split time in the backfield. Portis is not going to be the same after the injury this year (didn't they just trade for TJ Duckett?). Cadillac, Jackson, James, Jordan, Barber & Mcgahee are all in the same 2nd tier of solid RBs IMHO. Tomlinson, Alexander and LJ are in a class all their own in the 1st tier.
Who is Rudi Johnson splitting time with?
-
Once again, I should rank WM higher based on what? He is coming off a crappy season and the OL doesn't look a whole lot better than it did last year. The Bills are going to be losing more than they are winning which means they will be throwing a lot and abandoning the run in the 2nd half. You can fall in love with Buffalo Bills and draft them higher because of it, I won't.
-
Based on what? His 61 yd "preseason" TD? This offensive line is still a piece of crap until I see otherwise.
Off the top of my head, I'd take the following before WM from a "fantasy" perspective in a league where you get 1 point for every catch...
Tomlinson
L. Johnson
Barber
Cadillac
R. Johnson
Portis
S. Jackson
Jordan
James
Alexander
Davis
Westbrook

A buddy and I will be making the trip up to WNY for the Bills/Chargers game in Dec. and the preparations have begun. He and I, along with a few other buddies, first visited WNY in 2001 for the Bills/Bengals game and spent considerable time (we were all 20-21) in Niagara Falls, ONT, and we decided that we definitely want to do at least one night there.
Originally, we were planning on driving up Saturday, staying in Hamburg at one of the regular spots, tailgating early Sunday, going to the game, then heading to NF to check into a hotel there. Well, after some quick searching online, we found that we can save a bunch of money ~$100 (better spent at the casino and/or Sundowner) if we stay in NF both nights.
Anyone here have any experience at the Oakes Hotel Overlooking The Falls? Keep in mind that we're two 25 year old bachelors, so the view isn't really important, and the quality of the hotel isn't way up there either, but we don't really want to stay in a total shithole and want to be relatively close to the night life.
Also, when is the supposed deadline for needing a passport to cross the border? I still don't have one, but have plenty of time to get one if its necessary.
Any input would be appreciated.
You are a stones throw from the Fallsview Casino and there are plenty of restaurants around. I am not sure how many bars/strip joints are within walking distance, but you should have plenty of choices within a 5 minutes drive.

Willis wasent drafted till the 7th round. After some teams back up running backs.
They really hate the bills on that network.
A couple of things...most of the people in this draft have no idea about fantasy football as evidenced by Mort drafting Reggie Bush that high. Also, it is an 8 team draft. McGahee was somewhere around the 20th RB selected. That is probably somewhat lower than when he will be selected, but based on his play last year and the continued uncertainty on the OL, he is around the 12-15th best "fantasy" RB.

Tim Graham of the Buffalo News did a great job on this piece!

This is horseshit. A player needs to be in condition no matter what team he is on. It's not like you run marathons when you become a Buffalo Bill.
WTF is up with all the sports media whining

It seems like every 3rd thread recently is crying about some member of the sports media(TV, radio, internet & newspaper). Granted I've made posts in the past about WGR and king of all ballwashers Theismann, but this is out of control...
It is a constant stream of ESPN sucks, Peter King blows, Tasker can't get player names correct, Felser is senile, Sullivan is a jerkoff, Larry from larryknowsfootball.com doesn't know sh-- about the Bills, etc... Either have SDS setup a separate forum for this whining or give it a rest.
...and yes I fell better now!
