  1. http://blogs.nfl.com/2009/04/20/jaguars-si...eteran-wr-holt/ "The Jacksonville Jaguars made headway toward filling their void at wide receiver on Monday by signing veteran free-agent Torry Holt to a three-year deal worth roughly $20 million, according to Holt’s agent."
  2. I missed the part about the draft pick. If it is a 1st, I'd change my tune.
  3. Arizona gets hosed in that deal. A TE that can't stay healthy and a overrated and overpriced RB for Boldin who is a top 10 WR?
  4. How many teams(other than the Bills) have a late 1st and early 2nd?
  5. As far as I know, Cushing is an OLB.
  6. Then why did they get rid of one of them and now looking to dump the other?
  7. Here's mine(this assumes Orapko is gone)... Ayers(rising up the boards and after Orapko, probably the best available to play in a 4-3) Brown(above average pass rushing skills). Jackson(viewed as more of a 3-4 end and not as much of a pass rush threat). Maybin(too small for my liking. He added 20 pounds, but how will that effect his speed). I's be okay with Ayers, Brown or Jackson, but if all that is left is Maybin, I'd look at another position instead...Cushing?
  8. Just say NO to trading up! On a team that needs as much help as the Bills do, why give away draft picks to move up.
  9. Do the Bills have the cap space to fit both Scheffler and Waters, and if so, could each of them be acquired for a 4th round pick or would it cost more? If this could be done, two need positions would be addressed and the Bills would still have #11, 28, 42 and 75 to address OLB, DE and OT.
  10. Anyone feel that the Bills will either draft a player not expected to be taken at that point(#28 or #42) or even worse draft a player at a position which is not considered a "need". If so, what is your worst nightmare in terms of this.
  11. I can't wait to hear about Ralph's personal pick since the Rodney Wright selection was so impressive.
  12. This PFW reporter who gets a lot of positive feedback here, does not like Cook... http://www.profootballweekly.com/PFW/NFLDr.../wwhi041609.htm
  13. I'll be pissed if the Bills trade up in any round. The draft is too hit and miss to give up picks/players in order to get "their man". Oh by the way, the other reason not to trade up...this team has too many holes to fill
  14. The seats have been close to full for the last decade with the Bills sucking hind tit. Making some changes to remove underachievers and malcontents can only be seen as a positive from most Bills fans. If the Bills can find a sucker to take on Kelsay's salary AND give us a pick in return(I'll take a 4, 5 or even a 6), it will be a great move.
  15. What fun? I can't wait to hear about your "fun" plans for this weekend.
  16. Mind boggling! I can only hope that the report is incorrect. If not, this franchise may not make the playoffs for anther 10 years or so.
  17. So we took a 4 instead of a 3 so we could possibly trade the pick for one of the guys mentioned? Why not take the 3 and then trade them our own 4.
  18. NO. I don't want to see any trade ups at any point in the draft. We traded up for Losman and McCargo which we busted on twice and also traded up for Poz who gets an incomplete/mediocre grade at this point.
  19. If this is true, I'd love to know the reasoning behind wanting a 1 and a 4 this year and a 6 or 7 next year instead of a 1 and 3 this year. Doesn't make a whole lot of sense.
