  1. Great player. Love his attitude and ferocity. Set the tone for many up and coming players. He will go down as one of the best LB's in NFL history.
  2. Interesting post. I'm curious to what stats the management would key in on. In baseball it is pretty straight forward how they did it. On base percentage all the way. In football i don't think it is so cut and dry. What stat do you use? YAC, competition percentage, etc.? A cool idea but I think football is too complex of a sport that makes this system insignificant. I'd love to see if someone could figure out a system to weigh potential based on stats in football. Personally, I don't think it can be done. The intangibles that makes up this great sport is something that separates players at every position. How do you quantify this? I believe he is referring to the assessment of talent as opposed to the financial aspect.
  3. I can agree with a lot of what you're saying. Barnett better pack his bags. However, don't close the book on Bradham and Sheppard. They are in no way pro bowlers but both of these guys have a nose from the ball and can add depth to a weak defense. We can all hope on Andy, but i fear u may be right. And as far as safety, if we really need one, let me know, I'm open all season!
  4. That'd be a stretch at best...i.e. another wasted pick. Just win baby.
  5. ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh yesssssssssssssssss
  6. Watching the game now. Interested in watching Rodgers play. Could be a guy picked up after the draft and see what he has.
  7. Don't think you're that crazy. I like the idea of taking a look at him. I do think you would need to bring in an offensive mind to assist him. Wish he was more vocal however.
  8. Agreed. I will never complain about a Bills victory. Be happy.
  9. I like him. Also, realistic.
  10. Anyone know what time this is supposed to be?
  11. Bowe is one of many talented free agent wide receivere. Not only will this drive his price down, but coming off of IR will also affect his stock. He won'tbe cheap, but with the productivity this guy had this year, I don't see him breaking the bank unless someone is willing to overpay.
  12. Good read and interesting thoughts. Like you said, dare to dream...
  13. More interested in watching Nassib
  14. Interesting post. Something to keep in mind in the next couple weeks. As far as the off season being interesting? At least we can finally watch something that is interesting for once.
  15. Offensive Yards: Bills - 290 Jets - 270 Penalty Yards: Bills: 115 Jets: 90 Total Yards: 765
  16. Undoubtedly would be better to have a QB who can stretch the field. Still, I am referring to Gailey's ability to stretch the field. In his so called "spread" of an offense he does a very poo job of using 53 1/3 yards of the field. He often condenses play with formation and scheme and allows for the defense to not have to cover the entire width of the field. This limits the potential of the offense... In case anyone is interested in an example, on Sunday watch any screen the Bills run. They often waste yards, catching the Ball 5 yards behind the LOS. This is hidden yardage the Bills are often giving up in their offense scheme and rarely noticed by on lookers, but imagine the true potential if we can really get our play makers into true 'space'. ** meant to say poor. but poo also does an adequate job of addressing his offensive scheme.
  17. He does NOT know offense. He can draw up some screens and tricks here and there. However, his play calling is terrible. He limits his players by his restrictive formations and does not know how to stretch the field. I'll take the Bills before Gailey.
  18. It's too soon to say either can be good for the Bills. I think you need to know who's running the show from the box in order to say either of these guys can fit the system. Good prospects though, will definitely be watching.
  19. He does have a brother in the NFL playing center for the Eagles, Jason Kelce. Guess we can be relieved he isn't related to the other Kelsey...
  20. Appearance is everything!
  21. Kelce emerged as a top target for the Bearcats this season. He is of good stature (6'6 260lbs) and athletic ability. Good speed and movement to get open and a top receiving TE in this years draft. I wouldn't mind the Bills taking Kelce if he falls to us in the middle rounds. He helped his stock tonight with 150+ receiving yards against Duke. He had 5 total receptions, including a game-winning 83 yard TD. Thoughts?
  22. Then why pinch pennies? Give him the long term deal he wants/deserves.
  23. Jasper Collins, Mount Union (D3) my WR sleeper this year
