  1. Undoubtedly, he good at utilizing talent on offense. I'm not against his hiring. Then the question becomes, if we wait around for him to finish their playoff run, and he backs out, where does that leave us? Also, a good OC doesn't necessarily guarantee they'll be good HC. Any more facts/details that could back up your statement?
  2. I love how vague this is. I've got questions, man!
  3. Sounds good on paper. What makes you think he is going to want to leave after such a stellar season?
  4. Thanks for posting. Kinda reminds me even though we're heading through rough times, we have a lot of talent and feels good to be a Bills fan!
  5. Like many other things in the world, it is critical to take a step back and remember that we don't need to reinvent the wheel! I'm interested in everyone's take on this quote: "I like linebackers. I collect 'em. You can't have too many good ones" - Bill Parcells I've always loved this take on defense and The Big Tuna's outlook. Regardless of who we bring in as HC and DC... I'd love to see them take this approach through free agency and the draft. Thoughts?
  6. Packing up...A little early for Spring Cleaning
  7. 200+ tackles huh? Welp, guess someone on that D has to make them... Good riddance.
  8. How can we not sign this guy already?! He not only offers good interior line play but partial nudity for free!
  9. At this point, I like how they are exploring all the options. Even if the guys they are interviewing are unlikely to come, it is still good to gauge their interviews in other more realistic options. OP, if it is next Wednesday and we don't have a HC, I won't be terribly surprised, but I will be worried.
  10. Very interesting find. I'm not sure how much pull it gives anyone just because you have the same agent. But hey, worth a look into if we do wind up with Kelly
  11. I have to say Manning. He is the ultimate field general. He is a student of the game and has the credentials, skills and attitude to back it up. He makes everyone around him a way better player. Not to say any of these other guys are bums but Manning is just unreal. Love watching him play.
  12. OP, I agree 100% with your take on LB. Especially Sheppard. Bradham hasn't had the opportunity to show what he has because of poor play by K.Moore (IMO). I'd hate to see the Bills stretch for a QB in the first...smells like a wasted pick. As far as Tight Ends, I never have seen this kid play. From what I've seen in this footage: -He seems to position block instead of driving people off of the ball. -Stands straight up and plays high at times -Good release off LOS, seems to run well in space Not sold on this guy but that's just from this footage. Do you know more about him? Personally, I like Travis Kelce out of Cincinnati. He seems like a player who could fall farther than expected and would love to see a guy like him on our side.
  13. When you say available...
  14. McCoy fits much better as an OC, agreed. Your take on Vick is interesting, but i'd hate to see the Bills go after him. A.Smith could fit for a few years while we get a project QB later in the draft or next years draft. I really can't say i'm thrilled by the QB's in this years draft. If i'm GM, i'm only drafting a QB if he falls greater than expected. Improve on Defense should be our main concern along with getting a more stable offense (yes, I know a stable offense involves a good QB!)
  15. Made my Day I agree. Bring in some top notch candidates. Even if they're not that realistic, it is good to shop around, see what is out there and use these guys as bench marks for assessing other talent.
  16. I can respect what you're saying about experts, their opinions, prototypical NFL QB, etc. I do like the idea of a mobile QB who can make plays with his legs when need be. That said, I don't want a guy who relies on his legs, too quick to scramble or puts himself at risk. I don't know much about Boyd. But I do believe he would be a stretch in the first round at best. I think it would be a wasted pick. I agree with a lot of people on here about beefing up our defense in the first couple rounds and then trying to land a QB who we can build around later in the draft, or possibly next year.
  17. I liked Chan as a HC but he clearly needed help calling plays. I don't put our defensive flaws on him but in the end, he didn't get the job done. Can't say i'm sad to see him go, but he was a class act and wish him the best in his next opportunity.
  18. I'd like to see Fred and CJ on the field at the same time more often. It really opens up our offense and alleviates some pressure. Chip Kelly would do a good job of this. However, I fear bringing someone without NFL experience in.
