  1. Discrediting a witness does not remove guilt from the equation. But there is no proven guilt. The NFLPA wouldn't be doing there job if they aren't trying to defend the player. By discrediting a witness, they are attempting to show that testimony could likely be untruthful. This issue is when we use this form of discrediting a witness to the point where we blame them or as some do, simply allow it to act as a "valid" reason that crime was committed. This is very common back and forth language between legal representatives. If Zeke feels that she attempted to black mail him, or had meaningful discussion and Intent to do so, he should/could use that as an example of the victim being untruthful. However, idk if a crime was committed and I'm glad I'm Not the decision maker here. But if there was a crime, he should serve his imposed suspension but I can't blame him from using his legal team to defend him by these means Edit: the NFLPA should not have leaked this information if true, but instead, used it in the hearings as seen appropriate
  2. The first 3-4 games is a rough stretch for us offensively. It's very possible not only TT but the whole offense struggles. If that is the case, would it be fair to pull TT because our offensive line is giving up sacks left and right? What does that accomplish? If it is clear that TT is the issue, then your argument can be made to audition peterman. But my thought on the topic is that those defenses, especially Denver, will be a tough game for everyone and an unfair measure if QB play
  3. Our offensive line is in trouble over the next few years. Wood is in a contract year and I will be surprised if they resign him. The following year both Richie and Miller are up on contracts. Do Beane and McD have any loyalty to these interior OL? Nope. With issues surrounding injuries (potentially long term) and question marks at RT, pair this with McCoy's age and our running game could be 100% different in two seasons. Possible replacements? Groy is the solo in house guy and it's possible Miller plays well enough to be retained. Hopefully they can use one of those 3rd round picks on an interior OL and Cordy's foot heals up properly. In this scenario, if Dawkins can show well enough at RT, we will be okay. But it is definitely a question mark over the next few seasons IMO
  4. We should sweep the jets but we won't (1-1) Patriots in December are money (0-2) Dolphins facing us twice in the late season earns us one (1-1) Divisional record: (2-4) In the AFC: We lose in Cincinnati and Kansas City plus home loses vs Oakland, Denver. I think we handle Indy at home. AFC record: (3-8) We lose in Carolina and Atlanta but take LA Chargers on the road and New Orleans at home. My upset of the year will be Bills over Tampa bay at home. NFC games: (3-2) Season record of 6-10
  5. He is one of my three keepers (RD1) and idt I can pass him up
  6. Per rotoworld, there is a possibility this drags on past the fantasy season allowing him to play out the entire 2017 season
  7. When Zeke files an appeal, will be be elidgable to play pending a decision? If memory serves me correctly, Brady played out an entire season under appeal until the legal courts handed down the ruling. So again, if he files with the league, will he avoid suspension until a ruling or would he have to take legal action in the courts in order for him to escaping missing time until a definitive decision
  8. I expect a majority of big pass plays to come on play action. In fact, I think play action passing will be a huge staple in this offense
  9. Teams must be to 53 by 4pm on September 2nd Practice squads can be formed the following day beginning at 1pm
  10. Char Wright in the starting line up? Hoping he plays better in this scheme than last years. Did he Ravens run a lot of man coverage? Just keep it in front of you...
  11. I'd hope they target Zay like they did with Sammy in the first game. Allowing for an increased volume towards Zay will hopefully give the coaching staff an opportunity to see if he can preform on the outside.
  12. As much as I disagree with your opinion on the offense, I appreciate your mentality. It's a nice change of pace! I cannot buy into this defense just because of the change in scheme and staff. I still believe they are severely lacking talent behind the front four.
  13. To me, it's Shady. If he goes down, I think the Bills are in real trouble even more so than if TT is injured. We will HEAVILY rely on McCoy this season. IMO, the loss of Shady will have a bigger impact on our offenses ability to move the ball.
  14. Fair enough. I just disagree. Schematically the running game is much different and who knows how it will be. Dawkins hasn't shown to be the guy in camp and as for our improved receiver corps, an aged receiver, an unproven rookie and a drop-riddled ST standout are currently our top three. Too bad our new super star Matthews is injured. Oh well, as you stated, just my opinion. No offense intended. Do you like a little sour in your jug of kool aid? Sure, we hope they'd be honest with him but as I've stated another thread, why would any player trust the front office after those moves?
  15. I got roasted in another thread for suggesting too many people are giving too much credit to McD and Beane. In fact, I stated some people are "crowning" them. I wonder if my perspective would be as outrageous now as it was a week ago. I don't trust either of them. Culture, discipline, process all sound excellent. But they guys are inexperienced at their current position, seem to deceive (maybe indirectly)players and media. I'm glad i don't have to answer to someone who shows no alligence to anyone but their own people.
  16. Not to steal the thread from Kyle but... Your reasoning that the offense has improved just doesn't make sense. A third string TE and a potential back up at RT doesn't improve anything, if you want to argue that the team has improved on offense, i could get on board but those two points don't have a place in the argument
  17. Kyle. Wood. Alexander. Tyrod. McCoy. I don't feel bad for any of them. But I do question if this type of move makes any of them question their motivation. None of these guys have many, if any, years left on the Bills. It must have appeared to them that they were gearing up to finally make something of a season. Departing with the young talent to acquire future draft picks has to be a blow to the motivation of the current and older players imo. The move knocked down many fans excitement for the season. I can only imagine what that does to the players
  18. I'm in East Amherst and I am able to get them
  19. Hate to be a downer but I think the Bills will need to invest at least two of those first 6 selections on OL. Over the next few seasons, Richie, Wood and Miller are all FAs. With question marks at RT, I can see them getting some interior OL help next season in rounds 2 or 3.
  20. I would like to see what Zay Jones can do given the opportunity. However I think those targets we all expected Sammy to get will be split among other players. Any chance DiMarco is an option? Wouldn't surprise me Yes I agree. I don't think a single player will substitute the potential targets we all expected Watkins to receiver. It was all speculative though and this could have been the plan all along
  21. Last season possibly for Wood and KW.
